New Ski time!

Finally can afford skis due to spring sales and was wondering what I should buy.
Right now I ride 172 Edollos and love them but the edges are shot and I cannot carve like I need to as a ski instructor. I am looking for a fun ski that I can use to shred the whole mountain and some softer snow. I rode the line blades and they were great but I found they were a little skinny in softer snow. There for I think the line Sakanas 184 would be a pretty good match but I am wondering if there are any other skis in this category.

They only make the Sakana in 174 and 181, I’m guessing you meant 174? That would be pretty sick, as would the Aero from Season EQPT

Sorry I meant 181. The aero looks good but I think its waist may be a little skinny for what want to do with it.

You’re supposed to ski the Sakana short, I would go 174 at your height.

I get that I was just thinking the 181 because I am 15 and still growing and want some thing stable.

Every kid on here ever says this about skis and boots and then ends up regretting it because you won’t grow as much as you think but do whatever you want. Pollard designed the ski to be skied short so I trust him over some idiots who recommend 190cm skis to everyone over 5’11

I get u I just think that I am/ will be somewhat will be inbetween 174 and 181 and the NS principle is to always size up

Big skis big steeze. But I always see people saying size up if the ski is super flexable or ment to be used in powder.

Some one is also selling the 2021 181 sakana’s with p 15 for $670 cad. Less then ten days on then but mounted twice. Should I cop?

Those skis are pretty cool I like the tail on em forsure. If they are scratchless I would say ya. Ur basicly paying ~$27 for pivot 15s at that point which is the biggest flex on NS imo. I say that because that ski is $500 usd on evo rn. If ur gonna get a dedicated pow ski this is an S teir option IMO.

Edit: if you are fine with never mounting them again. To my knowledge it get sketchy after the 3rd mount unless you do something weird like -4

You should because I just bought this exact setup and paid $775 on it.

You realize you're talking about a difference of 2.75 inches right? For a ski that has the same tip and tail widths and turn radius for all model lengths, it's most likely not gonna make a difference. Also consider the turn radius is 15m lol come on. Height is literally the most useless factor of all.
