LippamaniThe cool thing is our well was pressurized. As soon as we were through water shot out the hole and we only had to put pipe in 100ft because it shoots straight up the hole
Lippamani1 if you have filtered water make sure it's not reverse osmosis that your drinking all the time. Reverse osmosis filters to much of the water and takes some of the minerals out so it slowly dehidrates you.
eheaththis is just not true at all haha
TRVP_ANGELYou need to mix it with skim milk
Abomber22Why'd you just look shit up
SchizoSkierWhy don’t you get some bitches that aren’t little kids ?
SavageBiffThere’s actually a lot behind that, as far as “not hydrating” but as far as being “dehydrating” that it is not.
This is because you don’t have to get your electrolytes from water, as long as you have them, and don’t “over flood “ yourself causing you to piss out your electrolytes your fine.
Abomber22Who are you again? Seems every kid on NS is a bitch
Go puke at practice, df
TRVP_ANGELRARE (ultra) Abomber22 W 💯
Icant_kfedWhat was the oxygen-hydrogen ratio of the water because if it’s not right you won’t be hydrated from it
Abomber22There was 2 H's and one O.
SchizoSkierI play football and our spring camp / practice is going on rn. I’ve drank 3 gal of water in the past 2 days and 2 pedialytes and my piss is still like yellow (not light yellow). Also cramping up like crazy and headaches. This is my second year on varsity doing this camp and this has never happened before and I’m not sure why I’m dehydrated if I’m drinking enough water. Or am I doing something wrong
SavageBiffYour piss is yellow bc of the electrolytes not from dehydration, your pissing out unabsorbed nutrients
if anything your possibly over hydrated, causing you to piss more and not absorb, if you are a “high salt sweater” have a fucking tsp of salt with water once or twice and ditch that garbage your drinking.
Icant_kfedThat don’t work there’s gotta be one O and 2 H’s, dihydrogen monoxide is pretty deadly
Turd__AuthorityYour incredibly sophisticated trolling or stupidity taught me something today. That people have always been gullible and this is funny.

3 two much water and you will constantly feel thirsty so drink something dehydrating like coke or something before you drink a ton of water.

eheathi mean if you're sweating out a half gal of water working outside or playing football, you should probably consider an electrolyte drink with your water.
Otherwise, reverse osmosis water is just as effective as regular water to hydrate the average person, saying it dehydrates you is completely false.
AndrewGravesSVSomething to remember is that your body can only absorb one liter per hour so you should sip it gradually. If you just chug a full nalgene in ten minutes your body will only absorb a quarter of it and you'll still be dehydrated. In general if you sip one liter between 6Pm and 7Pm and then another one between 7 and 8 then you'll be fully replenished.
Icant_kfedWhat was the oxygen-hydrogen ratio of the water because if it’s not right you won’t be hydrated from it
Icant_kfedNo trolling here, just trying to spread the word, keep people safe
Turd__AuthorityYou're not drinking enough water from all sources. The daily requirement for men is 124oz (0.97 gallons) as a baseline. Pedialyte, assuming you bought the standard size, is 1L (33.8oz). So all that together you drank 451.6oz in 2 days (obviously you get additional water through food but let's forget that for simplicity).
452-124x2= 210 additional ounces over daily requirement
210/2 days= 105 additional ounces per day
If you're an adolescent then this requirement will drop slightly but you're still gonna be losing a fuck ton in exercise.
While an extra 105 ounces (3.1L) a day may seem like a lot, it really isn't. Since you're playing sports, especially high intensity ones that you lose a fuck ton of water from such as football, it's easily plausible to assume you're not hydrated enough based on what you describe. Headaches, cramps are signs of dehydration.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK236237/#:~:text=Water%20requirements%20during%20exercise%20in%20the%20heat%20depend%20on%20fluid,as%2010%20liters%20per%20day.
If you were doing two a days or exercising very vigorously then urine discoloration could be more ominous- rhabdo. Unlikely though as you'd have coke colored urine, muscle pain/aches, and lower back pain among other stuff.
Sorry to contradict you and be a know it all but electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, etc.) are all clear. Now if op is taking one of those fitness multivitamins with a fuck ton of riboflavin, then that'll turn your piss a funky color. Maybe that's what you're getting at? Certain meds and foods change piss color too.
The second part of your paragraph is also not true. Piss comes from your blood. It's all the excess water and solutes and metabolites your body doesn't need. Your kidneys serve to metabolize stuff as well as regulate concentration of urine. If you're dehydrated, your kidneys will reabsorb more water in their tubules and hence your piss is darker and has a higher concentration of solutes. If you're drinking a fuck ton of water and have an excess of fluid ("over hydrated"), the kidneys will begin to excrete more dilute urine as they are reabsorbing less water, and hence your urine looks clearer. Urine color is yellow due to urobilin which is a byproduct of hemoglobin; this appearance of color changes based on how much water your kidneys put out affecting solubility (imagine mixing orange juice and water; more water=lighter color).
Now the ability to concentrate urine also can differ with certain diseases but op wouldn't be playing football if he had one of those. The piss color still holds true.
Turd__AuthorityI'm envious of your determination.
Icant_kfedDihydrogen monoxide is no joke, it claims about 11 people a day
Turd__Authority
False
AndrewGravesSVI didn’t mention that if you’re doing physical exercise that you should drink water while you do it but figured that was obvious lol. If you’re sweating buckets you need to drink more but other than that everything I said was still true
Turd__AuthorityI was referring to your water absorption rate statement.
AndrewGravesSVIdk about that then chief! Seems like a broad and consistent consensus to me after a bit of googling

theabortionatorThe internet, where even a discussion about drinking water will turn into a shit show of "facts"
