mobadisMost of this is cope trying to skirt around the main issue. Biden has been in politics for over 45 years. Somehow hes managed to "gaffe" and "oopsie" his way through to the presidency. That should be alarming in itself. The dem party is a husk of its former self, symbolized perfectly by Joe Biden. Old, decrepit, out of touch, incompetent, and failing. Sinema and Manchin seething further supports this. Reform or Die, stop pretending everything is ok and its not your fault. The once proud blues are rotten to the core and all you can do is blame mango mussolini. You're still doing it. I don't think you even notice. 45 years old should be the age of the president, not how long he's spent stewing in the halls of DC.
In reality you don't even see the field yet. You are still rooting for your team. The stadium, the players, the rules of the game are all hidden to you. You don't like the other team. They are rotten and bad. And you're right. That's the funny part. I'm just trying to get you to see your team is rotten too. Once you understand that you can begin to look up from the game.

AndrewGravesSVlmao i dont even get what you're saying my dude whats your point? You're in here acting like you're thinking big but sounding like a qanon dipshit.
Both political parties are corporatist, outdated, and bought out. We've got legalized corruption in American politics. Manchin and Sinema are evidence of this not the party being outdated. Imo Dingo did a good job at a balanced response to the points you brought up without even gassing up Biden. You're pulling the playing teams card and still not bringing any context or critical thinking
mobadisGreen name moment. You’re already on the tard (do not engage seriously) list. Enjoy. Btw did you know drumpf hims bad yes ?

mobadisThe blue maga types on here (dusty green name mfs), whose brain channels have long since solidified in their old age, are much more resistant to receiving new and conflicting information. They just shut down and fall back on ad hominem or blame whatever boogeyman is occupying their consciousness at the time.
DingoSeanFirst of all, the Democrats are hardly 'my team'. I don't have a political 'Team' per-se.. Unlike many Republicans who show up in full NASCAR regalia to their Trump cult events.
Many people who voted for Biden voted for him simply because he was the less shitty geriatric by a longshot... and its funny you say he gaffe'd his way to the presidency, because he was all but absent during the campaign and merely let Trump dig his own grave as he completely botched Covid, as he's anything but a leader... 80+ million didnt vote for Biden because he was some great political icon full of charisma and great policies, but because the alternative was a sociopathic narcissistic nutcase who the world was sick of after years of bullshit and at least Biden was a boring 'safe' alternative after years of constant fucking drama.
As for the old, decrepit, out of touch Democrats - I'm totally with you there, nor would I have needed any convincing - hell, I have been advocating for it for multiple election cycles now...
I want the likes of Feinstein, Pelosi, Hoyer, Maxine Waters, etc to all step aside and allow people who aren't melting like Emporer Palpatine to make decisions... I would absolutely LOVE term limits where senators cant serve more than 2 terms in office, and house members cant serve more than 5 (thus making the max someone can serve, at 30 years with a 2 term presidency)... Grassley, Shelby and Inhofe should all be retired as well on the Republican side.. its absurd that these geriatric fuckers are in power... and you know what? That includes Trump and Biden, who are well into their 70s and have no business running the country much less a Taco Bell... I'm just lucky that my current representative is a mere 41 years old and completely breaks with the tired ass San Francisco Democrat establishment of Pelosi and Feinstien - Feinstein in particular I voted against this last election... Shit, even my mother, well in her 60s broke off of Feinstein and voted against her in 2018...
But we have strayed off track a bit here... what we were discussing was whether any of Biden's policies as president have been outright horrible... to which the answer is, well.. not really... as he's only been in office for a little over a year - and has focused the majority of that time on Covid - which finally seems to be ending... so that's a good thing.
DingoSeanLmao. How old do you think I am? Talk about ad hominem attacks... you're projecting hard dude.
Also.. Blue Maga? buddy.. no. haha. The Democrats are as united as a sloppy hamburger... Even if all the ingredients are delicious, one squeeze and it all tends to fall apart a little bit. There's just too much going on there for any solidified movement amongst democrats that rivals the cult-like nature of Maga... That's why Democrats will lose elections despite their policies generally being more palatable nationwide.
mobadisHaha yes you are skirting around the edges of it, but you literally CANNOT help yourself from blaming trump and Republicans. It is good you recognize the Democrats are corrupt and decaying. But you still follow partisan, tainted lines of thought. “Well my atleast my old pedophile stays quiet while their old pedophile is public and loud”. How about, “let’s kill both of those mfs” and “who tf is paying those stooges?”. It’s all about perspective shift. You seem a lot more reasonable than some of these frankly fried individuals, so I hope you can try and see this from where I am coming from.
DingoSeanThe whole point of your first reply to me was to talk about how bad Biden has been as president, and you brought up things from 1988 and shit...
You say I'm skirting around an issue... but I say you're just changing the subject entirely. Which fine... but realize you cant just get outraged at someone that theyre 'skirting around an issue' when that wasnt the topic at hand. I'm fully down with taking down the establishment in DC... but that's a very different, and broader subject...
mobadisThat first reply was just tearing down the notion that Biden is/was not a corrupt and incompetent politician. It was always with the intent of delving into the deeper causes and origins of the failure of our institutions. I guess I am just lost how you could accurately recognize that this is the true source of the problem while also singing the praises of a man who truly is a perfect representation for the decrepit nature establishment. I’ll just add this so I myself don’t fall into the sports team mentality, Trump is a perfect representation for the greedy ego of the same class.

DingoSeanPeople are praising Biden? Dude get out of here. Nobody is praising Biden... not I nor anyone else right now who isn't a downright shill is doing that
I have said time and time again that Biden is boring and lukewarm and that I and everyone else settled on him just to get the drama queen out of our hair...
Nobody is saying Biden is great. He's not terrible, but he's not the second coming of Jesus like Maga dorks seem to think of the former guy.
mobadisYou literally cannot stop yourself. I guess you've settled in your ways. I always wonder what the world would look like if Trump ended up the primary joke he was meant to be back in 2016.
AndrewGravesSVbro maybe you are actually 16 lol
Most people recognize its a rigged game where both parties dont have the publics best interest at heart. Feel free to have the "lets kill both of those mfs" and then follow the money trail. It'll probably lead you down a good critical road and maybe you'll get all the way to denouncing capitalism or maybe you'll go the whole qanon pedo elites conspiracy route instead. How deep do you want to go? If you want to talk origins then we're getting into colonialism, patriarchy, and racism that make up America's past and influence its current state. If more contemporary is your vibe go for the fallacy of trickle down economics or Citizen's United.
What's your end game here and your stance? If you really want to keep using this sports team analogy then what are you even doing besides standing on the sidelines and smugly throwing shit at both teams? Realistically, the only way I see major change for the better occurring is a mass general strike by workers. Workers rights are left wing politics no question, shitty institutions or not. We're seeing the growth of grassroots organizations nationwide to try and regain a sense of community America has lost. Personally I'd rather be aligned with the groups who don't have Nazi symbols in their ranks idk
mobadisAhh, another young, promising mind led astray by the utter dominance of marxist thought in academia. Its like I'm listening to Howard Zinn screech incoherently into the void that is the mind of an alumi of these sham institutions. They present you with just enough critical thinking skills and direction to see through the veneer of polite society but then channel this new naive desire for justice and change into the failed idealism of marxist ideology. Maybe If you switched the leftist outrage Instagram pages for yahoo finance you'd start to open your eyes. Godspeed young man. I hope you can break the conditioning.
mobadisYea looks like he's got it most of it there. Interesting to see how he can see through 90% of it but then stops short once he's got his elite capitalist class defined. His marxist background inclines him to be satisfied there, but I would implore him to look deeper. After all, who makes up the .1% he despises?

LenntCan yall actually see eachothers ages? Do we even put our age in when we sign up?

r00kieIn other news, I see 'progressive' social media has made the narrative flip back to "Blue No Matter Who" is preparation for midterms.
DingoSeancurious what platforms of social media you consider to be 'progressive'
DingoSeanLol political twitter is a minefield of whatever you could imagine... Theres everything on there short of downright hate speech.
saying that it's particularly progressive is, if anything a testament to the popularity of progressive ideas amongst the general english speaking population that you read from.
r00kieI think you're thinking I'm saying particular platforms are progressive. What I'm saying is that the progressive voices on these platforms are returning to the party loyalty narrative right on cue.
Abomber22No.
We guess from posts or ppl flat out tell their age. ( im 66)
Plus if it's all* rn idgaf idk* .....
Your avatar says 18 but it could be a 20 year old picture
LenntIts acutally a super cropped pic from a NOAA website. Got it 5 years ago in an oceanography/marine biological class. Most of my profile pics i use online come from old gov websites and stuff like that. She's mad sexy tho and I think thats one thing we can all agree on no matter our politics!
