Hood spring pass question

i’ve got the chance to buy someone else’s spring pass, he hasn’t used or claimed it yet from the front desk. Does this mean i can technically buy it off him and use it for myself?

There's a pretty good chance you're gonna need photo ID to match the passholders name before they give it to ya...
Or just slide em $20-$40 when you go pick it up.

They asked for identification when I went to pick up my pass, but I left my wallet at home so they just asked me some more information such as my birthday, phone number, and address.
Pass sharing in my experience comes after the pass has already been printed and you just hold your thumb over the picture when they scan you.

i’m gonna try and rely on the fact that this is timberline and not vail so hopefully i can transfer some shit or god knows what

Liftys don’t get paid enough to care but just a heads up Your full name, picture, DOB, days ridden etc all shows up on the hand scanner. you can even hotlist a pass from a hand scanners without even calling the ticket office.

I pretty much ski at RFID places or hills too cheap for ticket checkers but hood seemed pretty anal about checking tickets last spring, expect a ticket checker out there every lap scanning everyone in a group before letting them onto the chair

i’m literally 3 hrs away from govt camp, it’s not the end of the world if i can’t get one.
