yungonaThat’s based as shit.
SavageBiffIt’s good stuff man.
the milks fresh and delicious.
I don’t eat forest meat often lol was more a metaphor but I have and would, primarily my hunt goes to a butcher, half to us half to them for a food charity, I do like me meat raw tho ngl plus you don’t lose the nutrients you do in a bbq or grill etc
yungonaI’ve been wanting to try raw liver to be honest. Any experience on that?
SavageBiffDo you get any kind of indigestion? Age? Asking bc that’s a harsh way to start your day, I prefer a complete protein followed by carbs, protein, fiber and fructose for my 2nd meal. However I’m fat adjusted not a carb burner so I don’t require them to avoid the sleepies
programmed_roboti am 24. i dont really get indigestion. oatmeal has a 5g of protien, 2.5 g of fats, 27g of carbs, and 150 calories per serving. multiply that by 4ish servings and i think its a pretty good way to start the day! not to mention its pretty cheap
SavageBiffIt’s not a bad way to start the day nutrient wise, tho that’s basically 0 protein, and no complete protein your missing a lot, hopefully you fill in the blanks later, that’s a good meal for energy and performance, if your not lifting, doing marathon, or mountaineering it’s just fine, I was looking at it from a completely different angle which is why I asked if you ever experience indigestion/inflammation, and your age. Breaking your fast, or breakfast, is a time when your stomache is vulnerable and carbs, grains etc are harsher than say a protein is on your gut lining, this is more of an issue with age, and when you fast over 12hours, your also more insulin sensitive at this time, and sugars etc will further spike insulin which isn’t just diabetic hooplah it’s info for anyone wanting to maximize nutrient absorption , some of us are trying to maximize performance, athleticism and mobility in my case, I’d say yungona is into gainz, some longevity, and I think starting your day, no matter who you are or what you do, with a whole protein, followed by your carb meal an hour later, will improve your life in every way, but you do you, I asked the ? For my own curiosities
fwiw-pumpkin and Ceylon cinnamon make a good oatmeal with some extra nutrients you can modify as you like ya need more protein ma guy
yungonaDo you think that meal would yield a boost in energy or bog you down due to all the carbs?

programmed_robotvery interesting! so if i ate more complete protein an hour before eating oatmeal id be more likely to absorb more nutrients in the oatmeal? i eat oatmeal because i like the big 3 macros, minerals, and vitamins.
