I just finished reworking the park after the thaw/freeze cycle. Last night I took apart all of the landings (death ice) and put them back together with snow. Tonight I rebuilt the take-offs. The fifth and eighth jumps on the list have been boosted in length into the 30' range by request. Also, the two zoomer jumps were completely rebuilt. They are now Big Air style step downs of 30' and 50' from the lip of the take-offs to the lip of the landing. The landing is 100'+ long freestyle type. Perfect for practicing for comps. The larger jump is big enough to clear a snowcat sitting end to end on the deck. Hmmmm...
Here's the rundown now:
1 - 10' straight table
1 - 10' beginner step down - 20' landing
1 - 15' step down, steep 30' landing
1 - 25' step down, steep 40' landing
1 - table, two hits, 30' + 20', 30' landing
1 - monster kite (2 40' hip jumps)
1 - 12' table, 20' landing
1 - table, two hits 20' + 35', steep 30' landing
1 - 24' straight rail on a small table
1 - picnic table
1 - 300'+ halfpipe, 12' walls
Also at the mountain, bottom of Zoomer Trail, Two Big Air style step down kickers. 20' + 50' to the lip and a steep, 100+ landing.
I groom every hit and landing nightly, Fri-Tues.
As always, I get just as bored with the same stuff all the time as anyone, (already want something new again) so some of the stuff will be changing regularly. (next change comming in the next week or 2) That said, let me know what you want to see and I'll see if I can work it in! Thank you for the feedback so far - keep it up! If you come jam with us, let the mountain know. We'll be pumping them for more stuff all winter and if they know you like it or want it, we've got a better chance of getting it for you. (Hint: tell 'em more rails, bigger and better cut pipe, open sooner, etc.) We've got 'Super' dreams for next year...
Thanks,
Dropping in!
