VTshredder69Oh no Trump might hurt my feelings!!!! Ughhh this is awful. I much rather listen to Grandpa Joe's soothing speeches!
skiermanCan you imagine setting such a low bar for your politicians that you can only respond with this nonsense as a defense?
"This is a tough hurricane. One of the wettest we've ever seen from the standpoint of water." - Trump
At least Biden can blame early onset dementia for his gaffes, Trump is just naturally a fucking idiot.

Icant_kfedNot taking sides here but the bar should be set high enough that the leader of a county is comprehensible
skiermanYeah, try convincing a Trump supporter of this. They'll respond like a glitched-out NPC from a "God's Not Dead" video game adaptation.

Icant_kfedThe trump supporters are the ones bringing up the fact that dimentia man doesn’t know what he’s saying nevermind everybody trying to listen to him, tf are you on
skiermanCannot spell, cannot form complete sentences = My daddy voted for Trump!
Good fucking lord. Can you be any more obvious?
yungona
Yes because having proper punctuation and prose is a necessity in an online skiing forum. Get over yourself man.

theabortionatorI'm still not how Trump got such a cult following. I know he's, an outsider, he's a businessman, he tells it like it is, etc.
But still. Especially the religious. I guess it makes sense for the religious because they'll follow anything, and they love a good moral panic to freak out about.
Idk i get it but I still don't. Like vote for the guy whatever, something something sleepy joe own the libs. But when people are decked out in all the merch and his biggest fan?
It's friggin weird. Me and my friend were joking about selling trump type merch a few years back. Fucking wish we had. Brain dead people buying the dumbest shit. "Something something America freedom I hate those people USA" type bumper sticker crowd.
I think they should have left him on twitter. At least Alex Jones. Alex Jones is wild but funny.
The real heavy trump fans are friggin weird.
yungona“Religious people follow anything”
skiermanReligious people have a solid history of protecting the worst, including pedophiles, so it stands to reason they would be fine following anyone as long as they say the right stuff. Let's just say there's a strong correlation connecting religious belief and blind gullibility.
VTshredder69lol if you think religious people follow trump because he "says the right stuff" you're a fucking idiot.
VTshredder69If only demorats understood simple economics.
skiermanRight, they supported him because of his extemporary dedication to the fundamentals of Christ's teachings.
LOLOLOL
Imagine following someone so blatantly against your own beliefs because he promises to carry out your wishes and goals. I wonder what the Bible said about that...
"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve."
"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,"
"For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
"And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray."
"You know, nobody has done more for Christianity, nobody has done more for religion of all types, than me." - Trump
"“Nobody’s done more for Christians or evangelicals or frankly religion than I have.” - Trump
Yup, please tell us more how the religious right aren't blind hypocrites that are willing to sacrifice everything they believe in in order to achieve their selfish goals.

DingoSeanYou do know these are the same people who attend NASCAR events decked out in every flag, number, and sponsor of their favourite slack-jawed fast driving hillbilly right?
They made Trump into their favourite sports team...
Trump fans act the same way towards him as they do their childhood team... It doesn't matter what terrible shit he says or how much of a fool he makes himself out to be, they will support him no matter what at this point... they might criticize him here or there on some things but at the end of the day, they still get season tickets to the game - and vote.
Any discussion with a trump fan is like criticising their team's quarterback... they'll always come up with some stupid excuse for him not succeeding or why he's the best and the other team's players are so bad... and then, if their team loses, they will blame the refs and bad calls, and they will claim a bunch of 'the game was stolen from us' nonsense for years to come...
It's not politics to them anymore. it's sports. and they don't have the critical thinking skills to separate the two.

VTshredder69What policies did you dislike under trump?
Frankly America was much better off under the last administration than this one.
I'm sorry he hurt your feelings.

LonelyDidn't he cause one of the longest and most expensive government shut downs in history over funding for the wall?
Reducing protections for national parks. Gutting the EPA.
Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy elite, the people that I thought were the bad guys.
Setting back the manufacturing industry by getting into a trade war with China.
Along with other misteps, including the violent dispersal of largely peaceful protestors for a photo ops.
Asking state officials to find the exact number of votes needed for him to win a state, and implying that they would go to prison if they did not find them.
Large amounts of the taxpayers dollars going towards his business. One of the few presidents that did not divest.
Leftists are definitely deranged about trump, but that does not make him some great American president.

DingoSeanTo quote Rick Wilson - Everything Trump touches dies...
He tried and failed to repeal the ACA (ObamaCare) and spent a ton of time and effort trying to undermine it... which lead to millions more people being uninsured than if he hadn't..
He completely botched Covid when he had an absolutely prime chance to take control of the situation - He could have Winston Churchill'd the whole thing and won - He could have taken it seriously as hell from the start, got everyone onboard with battling Covid. He could have been an actual leader and had everyone supporting his administration's efforts. Could you imagine if he got Republicans majorly onboard with the whole thing? Wearing masks and - instead he took the wuss route and cried foul. He took every effort to claim it wasn't real and that everyone should ignore it, see it as a Chinese Democrat Hoax conspiracy, and focus on the economy. Biden basically cruised to victory just by sitting on his hands and saying nothing that would lose him democrat votes - The Democrats let Trump dig his own grave and he got smashed - losing states people did not expect him to lose... Total flip on 4 years prior when Trump won in states that were essentially given for Hillary.
He gave massive tax break on the super-wealthy, slashing the corporate tax from 35% - already absurdly low - to 21% - ridiculous... that did nothing to benefit normal everyday Americans
It has achieved none of the goals that Republicans had claimed that it would, and it did nothing to grow the US GDP as those who benefitted from the tax break simply just reinvested in themselves in terms of stock buybacks, rather than in operations - like creating more jobs or raising wages - the economy was already overcooked and on a downturn before covid struck - due to much of the tax breaks ending up not trickling down whatsoever as they all claimed it would - and once it did, it made all of us realize how fragile our economy had become and how dependent it is on investment and corporate subsidies.
He made us look like chumps to North Korea by going over there and playing tummysticks with Jong Un without getting anything in return - allowing them to legitimize themselves and make our allies think twice about our actions...
He triggered the hasty Afghanistan exit that then was blamed on Biden - though, no doubt the Biden administration did a poor job of that whole thing. Not great. But I don't see how it could have ended well no matter who had won in November.
He held Ukraine hostage for much needed military aid - trying to get them to start some shit to attack Biden... leading to his first impeachment...
He incited a fucking insurrection after he had a bitchfit from losing... leading to another one...
He pulled the USA out of the Paris climate accords and the Iran nuclear deal just out of sheer pettyness towards Obama...
He wasted a bunch of time/money with the whole Space Force thing... which is such a joke that it's been parodied on Netflix...
His administration was a shitty revolving door of mediocrity with firings happening left and right over loyalty - starting with Comey - who he could probably thank simply for reopening the Clinton Email bullshit -oh yeah multiple members of his administration including his own daughter used private email servers to conduct official business...
He completely failed with the border detention centres that he essentially ignored... natural disasters in Puerto Rico where his administration blocked aid, and California where he blamed his own dept. of the interior's responsibility to manage the National Forests on California not raking the National Forest like they do in Finland??? Which they definitely do not do. (seriously like wtf)
The majority of his presidential legacy is completely of thanks to Mitch McConnell who blocked dozens if not hundreds of Obama's judicial appointees - including a supreme court seat. Trump would have never been in a position to fill all of those seats without Mitch's grotesque gaming of the system.
There were a few things that I actually agreed with him on, such as agreeing to his signing of the Criminal Justice Reform bill that passed in 2018 - though that was mostly championed by Democrats - who voted for it unanimously. He only signed it because Kim Kardashian lobbied for him to to do it, and because Jared Kushner's dad would benefit from it financially as a former felon. Generally speaking, it was one of the few pieces of legislation Trump signed that I ultimately supported, and it has some good stuff in there... but it was signed by Trump merely out of reluctance rather than because he actually gave a fuck about it.
Trump was for the most part, an American nightmare. The Biden administration has, at the very worse, been incompetent on a few levels, but after the scorched earth that the Trump Administration left in it's wake, holding up and delaying the transition as hard as they could out of petty spite, its almost amazing the Biden admin was able to catch up and start really functioning as quickly as they were able to.
Trust me, I'm not some rah rah cheerleader for Biden - he's milktoast and lukewarm at best, and many Americans simply settled for him... but at least he doesnt lie to you 5 times a day over twitter, and cause a bunch of unnecessary drama out of narcissistic demands of loyalty or otherwise.
Biden is boring. Sorry you'd rather it be a reality show of constant bullshit.
yungonaYou really have nothing better to do huh
DingoSeanIts a Tuesday night. Better this than praying to a non-existent entity.
skiermanA few things you left out...
- Donny adding more to the national debt in 3 years (pre-covid) than Obama did in 8 years even though Obama was pulling the U.S. out of a recession while Donny was riding on the coattails of a successful economy.
- Murdering a top general in Iran, directly resulting in the accidental shooting down of a commercial airliner and a base of U.S. soldiers getting hit by missiles resulting in dozens of life-long injuries that Donny brushed away as "little headaches".
- Issuing a travel ban from Muslim-majority countries on a whim causing weeks of absolute chaos at the airports.
- Decimating the U.S. agriculture industry, turning farmers into the largest welfare group in the U.S. via his trade wars.
BEST PRESIDUNT EVURRR!!!
