It’s been 5 weeks since my mountain closed

It’s been 5 weeks since my mountain closed and there is more than a foot of snow on top of the stuff that was there when it closed. I keep trying to beg my dad to take me up there to hike but he keeps refusing. Pretty sure there was 21 inches at the top of the mountain and when they closed and now it’s close to 37

In the exact same situation except we have a lot more snowpack than that

Only consideration I would take into account is, is this avy potential terrain? If so then treat as the backcountry and maybe why ur dad doesn't wanna go. Also hiking might be tough for your old man if you guys don't have skins. I haven't skied in 8 weeks if it makes you feel any better.

Ski dreams are dope, usually able to do the dopest shit plus moon gravity but lately my ski dreams have been tormentful, like ln I really did dream of being on a ski lift, and I was afraid, then I woke up. The other night I dreamt I was apprehensive about this stupid 36hr drive to a ski resort coming up, dreamt about a drive but not skiing like WTF!!! Where’s my moon gravity and floaty 1080s

Snowshoe still has a few patches but it’s not even worth it

Why not? Also sounds like a personal choice not so much the mountain closing down with snow leftover (for one of the many valid reasons it may have to close)
