What gigs/ side hustles are working for you?
With NFT , mining, other worldly ventures is this it, talking passive wherein you set it up and watch it grow

idk the above, and not looking for the next best thing, just wondering if you're being creative?


On the other side ( non passive/work)
is being a mechanic on weekends still a thing? any handyman gigs?














( let's count selling weed as it's own, cuz that's not a thing on NS)

I got 3 people, then they get 3 people and then those people get 3 people and so on. That seems to work for me. Tupperware is a big deal!

idk i wouldn't put side hustles into passive income. I'd consider having thousands and millions in the stock market and making more than 5-6% a year on that being passive income. Mining is definitely not passive and the amount of time and work that goes into having a successful crypto mining operation is insane and not something just anyone could do. With NFTs idk man, i don't get it. And yea being a mechanic on the weekends is still a thing. and i also don't get your selling weed comment because all my homies that sell/grow bud don't do it passively and watch it grow.

I was looking at the article and wondering if NS agreed that passive income wasn't a thing.

The long term investments are often mentioned, takes a sizable start to reap those later years, however
BingPowidk i wouldn't put side hustles into passive income. I'd consider having thousands and millions in the stock market and making more than 5-6% a year on that being passive income. Mining is definitely not passive and the amount of time and work that goes into having a successful crypto mining operation is insane and not something just anyone could do. I was looking for some insight. There's so few ( other than Tupperware, and one still has to deal with inventory) that it seems to be a falsehood.

As said above that article doesn't understand the definition of passive income. Only thing I do that I'd consider as passive income is dividends. Been trying to shuttle more money into high yield dividend stocks the past few years. Slowly but surely will eventually have a meaningful return. Really wanna get a second home to start getting some rental income but that idea is being put on hold for at least 6-12 months as I had some financial setbacks. The ideal goal would be to retire early on rental income alone but that's gonna require a lot of effort and diligence to get there.

Savings accounts are technically passive income so then you could probably consider roboadvisors like Betterment passive income too by that rationale. Betterment is the tits.

More of a side hustle but once I have a bigger boat I wanna run fishing charters. Depending on how you look at it that could be passive since I'd likely be spending that free time fishing anyway but it would cover gas, mooring fees and hopefully some on top.

Also I'm decent at fiberglassing and woodworking so I buy boat hulls on the cheap, build them out and sell for profit to get something nicer. Each time is easier since you learn what to look for and can more easily tell what is worth fixing. Not something I'd do as a main source of income but it feels good to have a boat that's worth 5 times total cost of materials.

I purchase housing in mammoth lakes out from under the stoners and bums that have made this town go to shit. I then rent out these properties on Airbnb to wealthy families from Texas for $8,000 a week so they can have a beautiful vacation skiing greens and blues all day. $8k a week x 27 properties = $216k in revenue a week. Passive income!
