animatorNo you actually can use GripWalk soles on the WTR versions, I found this out this past season myself. The AFD needs to be in the “alpine” position for GripWalk soles according to the Look manual.
powpatrolSorry, just to reiterate, the gripwalk works when i’m wtr but look tells you to put it in alpine?
.nastyI sell the GW AFD's in my shop which you can swap very easily yourself, assuming I read correctly and you have the alpine/wtr toe piece with the flip switch. You just pop out the flip switch and the GW afd has a nub that fits where the switch was. That's what I would do, those WTR toe plates with the moving AFD were garbage and will probably fail at some point anyway.
