Dub possible here?

is dub back possible in this spot? like bigger, kickier jump farther back with more speed + popping and tucking properly. non park dub backies don't happen in the east very often i don't think. i'm definitely too pussy to send that i think but jw if you think its semi realistic. plus i'd need a huge storm just to build the jump big enough not to mention having an okay landing.

video doesn't really do it justice but the landing is long enough as long as the jump sends you up more than forwards^

If you made the jump a bit bigger, go faster, and pull hard than you could make it over your head. You need a LOT bigger jump to be able to come around, open, and spot your landing, and ski away clean. I know its scary but doing a dub on a big jump will be way less sketchy and your chance of landing it is much higher.

Technically possible anywhere. But i wouldn't recommend on too small a jump. People are scared of park junps but a spring park day on a well built jump you can float them a bit.

But yeah bigger jump for sure. Would try to have some transition so it doesn't fling you. Hard in the size range you'll probably be able to put in that spot.

Personally i think being able to float it a bit and lay out the second is the safest. Whether you go to big or not you can adjust. If you fling it you're pretty committed to it coming around to your feet or not. You can't change much in the air.

Its possible but not worth it imo. Small dubs are not that sick so the risk to reward ratio is shitty. but if u did one on a bigger jump it would be 100x cooler. If you aren’t comfortable to do it on a bigger jump you probs arent ready anyways

Possible? Probably. A good spot for it? Maybe. Looks like getting enough speed could be tricky, but you should be able to build a big enough kicker and have plenty of space (even if the landing is a little flat)

Unless you can flip as fast as @Isaac_Emery , dubbing that jump at pico would be damn challenging from any build I’ve ever seen it in my day.

Ngl I’ve never done one smaller than like 60 feet but bear in mind I’m not from the east coast. I’d say it’s possible if you make the lip like 5 feet tall and hella steep and then just huck it to the end of the landing. Good luck!

With skis too you really don't want to be praying to get the last flip around. Want to float it enough to know you'll clear those tips

I think its more about you rolling in, calling everyone in this thread a 15yo keyboard skier, and belittling him for even asking the question here. Like agree forums aren't a reliable source of information but you don't need to act better than everybody to say that
