I saw Ankilla in real life for the first time

Alright so I’ve seen Ankilla get flack on here a bunch but I gotta be honest, dude is actually a ridiculously stylish skier, surprised at how actually good he was. Also he’s super nice in person, all smiles and stuff.

So I gotta ask, why do ppl rip on him so much. Yeah the piss thing is weird as fuck but like, he didn’t actually seem like a bad dude at all, and he shreds, so I’m just really confused. Is it just cuz he’s a goober online or something else.

I’ve been defending him forever, ppl j like to hate in general, even myself tbh. On top of that most ppl only know him as the weird dude who believes lizard people are real and drinks piss. Which is pretty much Chris’s fault.

A lot of the hate is from his conspiracy days when he would post a bunch of conspiracies on Instagram. Then he was saying to eat fruit to repair his torn acl, Holocaust denial, etc.

I've never met him but he seems like a chill genuine guy trying to create ski culture. Defs got some mental issues but thats true for a lot of people, most just arent so public in showing them. He does deserve some hate imo for the holocaust denying and went to deep into all the conspiracies like ahmet. Same with the dieting and health stuff cause at the end of the day you cant heal a knee ligament with fruit.

I feel like the hate has gotten less and rightfully so, hes a big character/ personality and skiing needs people driving culture and creating. Hating ankilla seemed like it became cool to do for a while and a mob mentality thing on NS. Seems like hes in a healthier place now from the outside and im happy for him

He had a crowd following him doing like a game of SLVSH with some kid and he was busting out some pretty good tricks, maybe it just seemed better in person but honestly, kids got a lot of tricks in his bag, more than 90% of the users here that’s for sure

maybe he stopped, I blocked him a while ago cause he decided to try and call me out on his story, but he constantly propagates false information, conspiracy and other preachy bullshit all over his platforms.

hes been tryin to build his rep back, which is fine, but IMO what he has done in the past will forever tarnish his image to me.

He is way chiller in person. He isn't openly giving his wild opinions to every random kid in the lift line. He is actually super nice and friendly. I think before anyone hates on him, they need to watch the whole 2 planker podcast episode about him. Its 4 hours long but every second is great. I also think people like him more now after Kit chat bars. When ever I have talked to him he has been super chill and funny.

I felt the same in the past when he was really off the beans, but like especially the past few months he has definitely cooled out and I gotta show respect to him cuz he has become a much more reasonable dude and chill to talk to, we converse on DM's about random shit every now and then and I think I can forgive all the bullshit he was on in the past cuz homie is genuinely making good effort, as in he hasn't been reposting anti Semitic and anti science bullshit like Ahmet lmao

except a lot of the kit chat drama pisses me off tho, I think they have got better now but like last month all the drama with Macks was unwatchable garbage, disappointed me bc before that kit chat was incredible.

Ankilla may have his quirks and red flags, but that doesn't make people incapable of growing, which it appears he is doing

Okay yes. Back in my early ns browsing days in 2015 and 2016 I watched old ankilla videos where his NS use to be like me_n_chris or somethin. His skiing was actually pretty good and I really fucked with it back then. He was pretty normal then and was respected on here I’m pretty sure. Always heard nice things about his actual character as well.

Yeah that podcast episode was super interesting. He does seem like a very likeable character and a pretty decent skier. And he’s also doing some pretty cool stuff in the ski community with kit chat. But as soon as you start drinking piss and putting coffee up your ass and preaching that the holocaust isn’t real you’re gonna cop some mad shit online. And here we are

What if I made some ridiculous claim, like "I am actually the actor Christian Bale." It's obviously not true but youre not in a position to disprove it. If I can claim something without evidence then you can dimiss it without evidence. Also, for a serious claim you need serious evidence, not a bunch of shaky "facts" cobbled together to form an argument that will only convince people who already agree with the conclusion.

People often talk about the herd mentality on here, which is somewhat true, but this site is full of discussions where people have disagreements with one other. You often see posts that have approximately equal upvotes and downvotes
