Any1 got any recommendations for reggae or metal?

For me rn it’s mostly rap or some sub genre of edm. Young Dolph (RIP) + Key Glock for rap mostly.

Mersiv, i_o (RIP), and Kx5 (Kaskade x Deadmau5) all are great electronic/techno artists.

I listen to both and their subgenres pretty frequently, here's some artists I like:

Roots Reggae:
-Dennis Brown
-Bob Marley (obv)
-Burning Spear
-Gregory Isaacs

Newer Reggae:
-Protoje
-Anthony B
-Kabaka Pyramid
-Damian Marley (if you like Nas, they did a joint album btw)
-Chronixx
-Chuck Fenda

Dancehall (gets confused with Reggae sometimes, its similar but use more electronics and is faster/more energy):
-Vybz Kartel
-Popcaan
-Masicka

I'd also check out Bakersteez, he is a rapper from Jamaica that has a pretty unique sound, like trap production but it uses samples from dancehall and reggae.

Metal is a huge genre with lots of subgenres. I'll just list a few favorites that all sound pretty different:
-Slipknot
-Animals as Leaders
-Guns n' Roses
-Rammstein
-Dope
-Bring me the Horizon
-Gojira
-All that Remains
-Saliva

I can also just send some links to Spotify playlists too

ft. Ganja plant, Yellowman, Bunny Wailer, Sister Nancy, Dennis brown, and John holt are mainly what I listen too as well as others.

don’t have metal recommendations but I can drop some punk if you’re into that

Not really into it at all. I usually don’t know where to get started when it comes to genres of music I’m not at least somewhat familiar with. If u want to drop some punk that’s fine too
