Never been to bridger but mayb a canadian equivalent is fernie. I met a kid from there who’s only trick was backflip off of everything. Locals there are crazy good too

Micah Evangelista from Baker, Elyse Saugstad and Luka Bredar from Alyeska (I guess Luka is more of a filmer but still). I guess what I'm getting at isn't necessarily individual pro- level skiers per se, just a feeling of lots of talent every time I go there.

There’s so many cracked kids at bridger, it’s insane. Me and my homies have a crew (@BBU) but we are no where near as skilled as some people at bridger, carnage, entourage and other dirty skiers that have been ripping there for years put us to shame. We just tryna spread the stoke.

Good terrain def brings out some talent. Sometimes shitty terrain does too. Some of the people killing it the hardest I've ridden with end up being from the midwest or northeast.


At a big terrain mtn currently though. Def cool seeing the little shredders. If this is the place you're learning to ski you're going to be pretty decent.

Some people are just friggin good regardless but a proper mtn def helps. Also if the people you ride with are casual senders you're probably going to end up sending some stuff too.

Its insane seeing little kids throw backflips and beautiful 3s off of rock chuck, then the comps they do at bobcat are also crazy. Kids at Targhee are cracked!

My skiing career is only 2yrs long so I've only been to trollhougen and wild mountain but the 20mile difference is enough to have entirely different skiers. Wild mountain only has a couple rails over 12ft but there jumps are all around 40 to 60 ft all year. So everyone there is great at air tricks. But trollhougen got 1jump and a ton of amazing rails. So everyone there's got jets and vishnus and on3ps and armada. Vs wilds got on3p head line fisher.

While BB has a ton of insane terrain, big sky has tons of awesome terrain as well, kind of silly to write that off.

Besides some big cliffs that aren’t mandatory airs, there isn’t a line at big sky I couldn’t ski, at bridger there is plenty of lines I won’t even consider lmao. So many fucked straight lines, angled shoots with mandatories, you name it.

I skied the ridge for a decade. It’s apples and oranges. Not saying you couldn’t ski something, just saying there’s bigger stuff at big sky. You gonna tell me Bridger has vertical and groomers like Big sky? Not everyone has to be gnarly all the time 🤙🏻

Wait are you talking about the advanced skiing class from MSU? If so my friend addy taught the class and said how half the skiers were better than her (she grew up riding Mad River Glen and is damn good). My homie Campbell was in the class too who was on the junior freeride world tour and is fucked good.

bigger =/= better most of the time, I'd say bridger has more technical lines that are harder and more rewarding to ski. I don't think anyone in here is trying to say one is better or worse, but groomers are not involved in this comparison IMO.
