It's still snowing in the PNW?!?

What is happening. Trying to get my hood vibes on soon. That said might hit up beartooth for their opening week. Looks like they've gotten some dumpage.

I miss spring but feels good to get some pow turns. My mtn is closing on a set date regardless but tried to ride pretty much errrday.

Upper elevations in pa got a few inches the other day, it was fun to hit a couple solo seshes on some street spots, I didn’t feel like setting up pvc.


anyone know how the snowpack is rn at hood compared to other years? I’m going out 3rd and 4th week of May and hopefully there’s enough to where they don’t have to shift the park up to the mile before the months end, while we’re there. Or does the park usually stay where it is all of May? Someone help me out.

They just got a ton of snow, I imagine they'll leave it on stormin as long as possible, but ive seen them move it up end of may

This was Palisades last Friday after 15 inches overnight. It was full on winter in the am. By the afternoon it was heavy and chunky but still lots of fun. They got even more this week. It'll melt fast but it's enough to push closing back to May 15 (was previously 1st)

I bet places were crowded. When everyone stops skiing snd then it snows and the world comes out. Tahoe is always good for that

It was crowded but by noon everyone had emptied out. Lifts were on wind hold until 10a. This weekend should be pretty good (and crowded) since lifts today were on wind hold. At this point in the season I don't mind a line at all.
