110 powder ski

I'm currently 5' 8” around 120lbs and Mt Hood Meadows is my local resort. I am looking for a 110ish pow ski and I'm currently looking at these skis:

- Atomic bent-chetler 110
- On3p Jeffrey 110
- 4frnt devastator
- K2 reckoner 112
- Faction Candide Thovex 3.0

I currently ski on a pair of J skis allplay and I really love their flex pattern and how playful they are so I'm looking for a pow ski with similar characteristics. Anyway if anyone owns a pair of any of these skis then lmk how you like them. Currently I'm leaning most towards to the Jeffrey 110 and the devastator.

Could look at Moment Deathwish 112. I've got some and like them but am yet to actually ski them in powder though :(

Allplay will be a lot softer than the Jeff or Devastator but I think those are the two skis that will perform best in the pow + windbuff meadows gets.

A buddy of mine has the JJ 116s and rips meadows on pow days on them. He says they’re really nice and floaty, plus I’m pretty sure they’re made in the same factory as Atomic skis so they have that taper/bevel in the tip that helps with float

My experience with ski's like that, they absolutely shit the bed at about 11 on a typical meadows pow day where the temps start hovering just below freezing. YMMV of course.

Reckoner 112 is a sick ski. I definitely loved it in powder but felt a little soft for me on chopped up stuff. I am 6’3 200 tho.

My jeffereys are definitely stiffer so I’d lean towards the reckoners if you want similar to the all plays.

Peep The Slackers if you like your Allplays. 110mm waist, semi-directional twin, light core but full construction base/edge/sidewall so really a freestyle pow ski.

You should consider the Rmu yle 110s. I love em and they totally rip on grommers as well. The back is kinda stiff but the front is like a noodle if that makes sense. Very surfy.

If a 175cm length isn't too short for you (which it might be) these are on sale right now for $350 https://www.fat-ypus.com/product/dvice/. Quality-wise these are extremely well-built skis and super fun, although I'm not the biggest fan of this graphic. The D Sender (112mm and not a 5-point ski) is on sale for $550 if you need the extra length in 184cm. Highly recommend both skis! Just adding another ski to your equation since they are on sale and kick ass.

A little food for thought. And it's just my opinion, but I ski at Meadows. The typical powder we get is pretty atypical to what we have seen so much of this season. What you like in a park ski may not be as ideal an hour in to a powder day at Meadows. I would look for playful, but can still hold up to Hood crud.

Okay, I think I've narrowed it down to the On3p Jeffreys, the 4frnt devastators, and the k2 reckoners. between these 3 skis, what do you guys think would be best

i love the reckoners, they really make the whole mountain your playground:) they also do good in park. so yea fun all around ski

does anyone have any experience with the Jefferys because I'm worried about the weight of them considering I'm not a very heavy person?

The jeffs are heavier but they're not "heavy" since they've been made lighter than previous years (when it was the kartel series). I wouldn't worry too much if that's the way you're leaning.

I know that there’s some reviews out there on the dev’s but I can’t find any on the 110’s. Any info on either of these 2 skis would be great

I ride the 102s, but look for reviews of Kartel 108s. Basically the same ski different names

but the jeffereys rip through crud and I’m definitely springing for the 118 when I have some dough

I skied the Jeffrey 110s all season as my only ski. With the higher weight and stiffness, I wouldn’t call them playful. But that’s a good thing for me. To me, playful just means too soft and floppy. I want to go fast through choppy shitty snow and jump off things, which the Jeffrey 110s do really well. They’re fairly agile in untracked pow, but they start to hold a stronger line as the snow gets more firm. They ski fine in the park and groomers, but the long turn radius means they are a bit cumbersome unless you’re hauling ass. I’ve never skied the Devastators so I can’t compare. But that’s my Jeffrey 110 experience.

The QST Blank is such a fun ski. That thing can handle anything you throw at it no problem

Jeffery 110 can do virtually everything. They're also extremely durable and have a huge fun factor

Jeffery 110 has enough rocker to float and feel playful, but they're stiff enough to straight line your favorite run and still hold an edge. I rode mine in the park for an entire season in the Midwest, moved out west and have 2 seasons on them and they are still doing great. Highly recommend
