Is it fairly easy to progress and learn grinds on aggressive skates? I was thinking about buying a pair but I’d have to buy new and don’t wanna get bored of them after a month. There’s also no brick and mortar stores around me so I’m not even sure where to begin or what to look for.

From what I've seen, people who are decent at park learn the basic tricks on blades really quick. If you can slide a rail consistently on skis then you will likely learn frontside grind your first day on blades. Same with the easier spins like 180, 360, 540.
