Infinite skiing

Any one ever gone to the Southern Hemisphere for skiing in the summer like NZ, AUS or South America. I was thinking in the summer it would be sick to go to like NZ and ski for a bit then you could ski all year long. Or you could just live on Oregon for 10 month skiing at timberline.

If you have a touring setup, a car and a drive to ski you can really ski most months out of the year if you live in the mountains.

Yeah this summer I’m getting a new setup and I’m gonna get some cast touring pivots and some boots and skins and avy gear and take a class beacuse I have some friends who do a lot of backcountry skiing

for a ski season, great. long term? Argentina has some issues and I'm pretty sure you would not like to get paid in ARG pesos $1=97 pesos, inflation is crazy down there

Fax but its not much more the best mountain near me so I think it’s worth it for 10 months

I remember reading about some guy who is ski patrol in I think Chile all summer then somewhere in the US rockies all winter. legend says he hasn't seen summer in more than 20 years...

Yeah. I was living in Colorado and moved to Queenstown, New Zealand. After the season, I moved to Australia. Spent their summer there (our winter) and then did another season in Australia. After that, I moved to Finland so I’ve done back to back winters both ways.

If you’re under 30, a working holiday visa is free to NZ. I think they are reimbursing for fees for a WHV in Australia now too.
