CHIEFKEEFHey there trying to move to hood for the summer and work and Timberline or Windells. Anyhow curious if anyone has any experience living on the hill car camping or finding a place? Any insight would be nice. Im super stoked just a little unsure about housing, or camping all summer.
tutipupsno experience but some people here seem to have had bad experiences with crackheads in the camping
skiindanaIt's pronounced homeless. If rent were cheaper those 'crackheads' would be working on wall street.

BiffbarfI'm sure meth and fentanyl has absolutely nothing to do with oregon's homeless lmao all heros down on their luck for sure
skiindanadude you're just an elitist.
If the rent went up, you could be out there living in filth and smoking meth all day too.
They're all just down on their luck. Oregon should just provide them with a single family home instead of supporting the oil industry.
CHIEFKEEFSuper helpful yall
ThatSkiierKidd64If you camp in the forest be careful about leaving your trash where you camp, there is a local legend of a trash kilelr who abducts people who leave their trash up there. Respect the area and the people up there will respect you, and don't light any fires or youre gonna have a bad time
Abomber22You fucking kids have your phones glued to your faces, yet can't figure out how to live in a real world
theabortionatorIf you're there outside of burn bans why not have a fire? Don't be an idiot obviously but fires are chill.
Agree on the trash though. Some people are garbage humans.
cyphersok genius get back to us when you figure out which state mt hood is in
Abomber22The point was to find the website, was hoping the OP could narrow it down....im not doing all the heavy lifting

theabortionatorIdk, considering the amount of people on this site that have been to hood, it's way easier to just make a thread and ask for some tips. Beyond that you can find other spots just from being there and driving around, talking to people etc.
theabortionatorThere's places to camp all over and the snow parks are fair game. There's a couple right by Trillium just a mile down from Govy, there's the rest area in Govy, you're allowed to car camp on the sides of the road in the summer in Govy.
Idk anything about working at windells really. Would assume there's some sort of staff housing there though.
arnie_grapelots of camping around there but a lot of the free spots i found were pretty shitty and sus. get to know the locals and im sure you can do better than me and my friends

HypeBeastYes because doing meth is an involuntary first decision. Wow did I just find your weakness? Drug addicts who are homeless? 😭😭😭 Jesus you must be a God fearing Christian from the suburbs. No sympathy here and you're a moron. Offer those guys $100k cash and see how many actually turn their life around instead of overdosing. They're not "down on their luck" lmao
skiindanaYou’re a moron for not recognizing obvious sarcasm/trolling? Love that people like you also get off on bashing christians and conservatives without any mention of those things. That’s called bigotry friend. I’m neither christian nor conservative, but you can take your hate somewhere else…
HypeBeastClassic redirection. Oh I was kidding I didn't actually mean that. Get a grip.
skiindanaBro the post you responded to I said they should give drug addicts single family homes instead of supporting the oil industry… wtf dies Oregon even do to support the oil industry.
You’re dumb and a bigot
