I bought Vishnu 189 wets this year to try out and learn something new. I love them, ngl, and the feel did help me learn a ton of new stuff this year. The season is over, but I'm just kinda rehashing what was said to me this year throughout the season.
Riding Vishnus came with some baggage I didn't expect. Which I thought was super funny tbh:
"Do you ride for vishnu?" - lmao
"This guys bouta do something crazy" - me, then hitting a rail fs and falling
I tell a kid I'm not that good - "why'd you buy those then" or "bro, why you even riding those if you're not that good"
(there was plenty more funny/interesting shit)

Is this normal? I don't care what they say tbf, but is that really what people think of this brand? Probably not, but yeah just a thought.
It's honestly motivating, I'm going to try even more things like 270 on and then off. swaps, pretz. Just need to find time off work to really grind a day or somethin.
All in all, don't let someone tell you those things. stay positive, have fun, and improve!
