the6ninesI mean, who even enjoys park. Mid if you tell me. Like imagine going off a set lip every time and then hitting some hand rail that you’ll crush your balls on. Lame asf. Big Mtn legit has cliffs, powder, and you can be more creative with the features you find around the mountain. I stand by my case.
keagan.karstensBro 100% tried his first rail today and slipped out
the6ninesMad because his best trick is a backflip at vail

doubleblackjackPersonally i think skiing is lame unless your doing like 14 spins. Like i like seeing skiing being pushed more towards gymnastics. Baggy pants really gotta go

Jemslets see where your steeze is buddy
33luke33never met someone who says they're a "big mountain skier" who's better at skiing than some park homies I know. just sayin

asparagusWhoever said big mountain is more creative than park is dumb. Every big mountain highlight I’ve ever seen is either a backie, 3 or straight drop off a very large cliff to backslap.
bbridgenot disagreeing, BUT you should watch Wildcard by Strictly
Jemswildcard doesn’t really feature any unique tricks in my opinion, like seriously count the amount of corked blunts and switch rodeos with the odd tree tap. although a massive portion of the tricks are ridiculously deep ass switch landings which is always great to see along with good filming. to me wildcard is basically what all the bozeman crews wish they were but aren’t.
BiffbarfReal talk if someone can rip on rails and jumps they have the balance down and 'big mountain' stuff isn't gonna be the hardest transition. I remember a couple seasons ago skiing with this rando kid from chicago, the stoke was real and he was hucking 180's off cornices into moguls and shit having never been 'out west'. Only real time I see park rats struggle is deep or heavy snow but I legit blame the gear most the time, pow with center mounted skis can blow ass and it's harder to get right when your tips dive immediately.

IsaacNW82Eh I've seen park guys struggle landing in pow plenty. Usually involves lots of frustration at would-be stomped tricks that end in a face plant bc they dove the tips landing perfectly centered or a hair forward.
But that being said, yeah its definitely easier for park to transition to big mountain than big mountain to park. Seems that park guys sending in pow can be a little off-balance or slow sometimes, but wayyy better than the freeriders who can barely jump and can't even slide a rail at all lol

Jemspark skiers can easily translate to big mountain but big mountain kids can’t translate to park
