The message he was spreading at steel city showdown to TV was rad. Hopefully a rail jam or two come out of this as a result if not a bunch. It’s what skiing needs, Jesus Tod Wallnuts himself says so.

Found myself in a good conversation with him Friday night. Dudes super down to earth whether you’re having a beer with him or see him out on the hill as a hyped up 13 year old.

His drive and passion hits home heavy, I also competed in the opens just for shits (those rails, or the insane hike, were no joke, very humbling event to somewhat be apart of) but anyway tom was literally hiking rails with us the whole time. I pretty much live at springs and am honestly still scared for the uncertainty of our future due to vail’s purchasing of us.

But events like this, that wouldn’t be possible without Tom, might literally save our park scene from declining at all, hypothetically. Vail had their eyes on that event, both employees there with their boots on the snow, and online taking notes of the sheer impact of this event promoted across all media platforms. And I think this event really was an eye opener to Vail regarding the monstrosity of the park scene and potential here, which hell, could make em wanna fund it even more than it already is by the now previous owners (Bob Nutting), and hopefully lasting CEO’s, higher ups, etc that throw a respectable amount of money into our parks.


Thanks Tom, and to anyone who supports, well, my scene here. I take pride in calling it my own and so do my homies. It does make a difference, more than it ever has.

During TAFT Andy asked who the pretzel king was and I said Todd walnutz and no one got it, except Andy. Looking back it was cringe but kinda sad no one got the joke.

Rob Small Enough is honestly the identity of park skiing, goes beyond just being the face of park and street skiing. I feel like similar to henrik, their personalities are skiing, and they are just straight up cripplingly addicted to both skiing, watching skiing, talking about skiing, and just kind of everything in between. Couple that with his killer attitude and huge social media influence and you literally get a park skiing promoter. Legit I see Tom in almost every single skiers insta comments, he watches almost everything and loves it all.
