kbrandoIf you cut this down to 90 seconds and took only the best clips, it would still make finals in 2022
ReturnToMonkeyY'all got rose colored goggles on so you don't realize how basic Twall's edit is now. Sure it still drips with style, but the tricks are all kinda textbook tricks for average park rats to learn over the course of their progress. Lotta swap+spin out of rails and boxes. A lotta grab variations of upright spins. Single rodeos and corks. I mean he executed everything so well in that video, but pretty much every submission these days is better, imo. Some still have great style, most have better tricks. I get that 2006 was early on and that video was pretty monumental for the time, but why does that make it the best SU edit ever?
Shay Lee and Sammy Boville's edits in 2013 are my favorites.
MaimHelpYeah but no one was doing it like him. Gotta look at it in the era that it was made in.
ofc nowadays there are crazy better in terms of tricks but a lot look very similar to each other, rather than basically inventing a certain way of skiing
ReturnToMonkeyOkay but why? Someone, in the year 2022, is asking what the best one is. Nowhere does best mean most influential. Or best compared to just what came out that year. Why do we have to look at it thru the 2006 lens? Go ahead and do that, wannabe oldhead. I'm gonna look at it thru a 2022 lens because that's when this thread was made.
dan38This never fails to blow my mindhttps://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/901212/Henri-Immonen-SuperUnknown-XIII-Finalist

Jemsdefinitely not most these tricks won’t even get you sponsored today
eheathi want to believe you're just trolling but it turns out you're just dumb as rocks.
Jemsi can think of multiple kids doing tricks just like or better than these without even a glove sponsor
eheathDoing tricks=/= getting sponsored you have to be marketable
Jemsyou’re taking this too literally all i’m saying is those tricks in that edit aren’t competitive in 2022 besides maybe a few in the park section
