New to park

Guys I am new to park skiing and these little bumps are so fun!!! But today this lame ass dude in 4XL pants (corny asf and pictured in background) was yelling at me for hitting the bumps. Is there something wrong with hitting the bumps?


I noticed there’s these metal looking things in the middle of the bumps but I think that’s just because this areas park crew sux!!!
Was I in the wrong or was bro not being a chiller?? My dad said I was in the right and the park is where people should have fun.
