Sounds like the US might make daylight savings time permanent within the next couple years. What kind of effect is this gonna have on ski areas? I would guess opening times would get pushed back for at least part of the year because late December / early January sunrises would be around 8:20 in the northern states. Places could definitely run lifts later too, not sure that they would.
I'd personally be happy because I'd rather it be light later than earlier. 8:20 sunrise does sound kind of rough though.
