Seven Springs Rant

Seven Springs is my home mountain, and I ski pretty much every weekend. It's a known fact that a park skier's favorite feature is a simple tube. So why does Seven Springs not have a single one in any of the parks? The new Beard setup has a pill and a tube, but they are perpendicular across the run. And all the Alley has is massive 50ft DFD transfer to death. Skiers much better than myself can hit that but I just want to practice FS, not on a huge feature. If I brought my PVC tube from home and set it anywhere, it would be the most popular feature on the mountain.

Lastly, I saw a park crew guy ski past me the other day riding some directional skis mounted at -3. Looked like he just learned how to ski.

if you skied 7s every weekend you’d know, anyone in the park loves a nice fat tube of course but 7s definitely caters towards snowboarders imo

They had a hike park fullll of tubes in front of foggy goggle but that got torn down for the steel city jam.

This is true. But screw taking North Face lift, when those features should be in the beard. The alley has some nice down rials rn and the battleship box is cool. But I'm tryna lap a feature to work on certain tricks. I was working on K-fed for a while, and it was nice when they had a few tubes in the beard and I could get 50 attempts. They have the same pill and tube in the beard now, but for some reason, they put them both going across the mountain.

You’re preaching to the choir. I agree… long tubes should be set up in the beard right now… but a lot of my rail tricks were learned by hiking.

Honestly I agree, it's a little nitpicky but I believe every park should have one flat tube thats good for progressing on at all times.

Can confirm. He wears it every weekend. Never takes it off. Maybe he has autism or something though so I won’t judge too much.
