whatd you use to paint? Any tips? I wanna do this over the summer at some point
just some spray paint and primer from home depot. i used an xacto knife to cut out painters tape for the lettering and taped over the pink and purple areas and just roughly taped some paper grocery bags to the rest of the ski so i wouldn’t waste tape taping over everything. hardest part was the taping, just take your time cutting out the outlines of the letters. i’d suggest trying regular masking tape rather than blue painters tape like i did, it’ll probably be easier to see the outline of the letters underneath. for the straight areas like the L or the T i used a ruler so the lines would be straight, really any straight edge will do . cutting in the daytime under natural light is also a lot easier than at night. sand down the areas you wanna paint and spray a coat or two of primer and let it dry for a couple hours at least before you go over with the paint. there’s different color primers too like copper, white, etc. i just went with black so when i ding them up it’ll just be a black undertone.
