Ski Resort Drinks

Does your ski resort have a famous go to drink?

For example Alta has the Alta bomb which is a double shot of espresso dropped into a pint of PBR

A small mountain in NY has a Foggy Water which is a double rum and water meant to "fight the hangover from the night before" etc.

Love to hear what drink combos are popular at other resorts around the world

Beers in my truck with the boys while eating lunch we brought typically my go to, then 2 or 3 pocket beers for the afternoon

Loveland Pale Ale at the Loveland bar.

It's the Tommyknockers Pine Bough beer that's branded for Loveland.

You can only get it at Loveland or during certain months at the brewery in Idaho Springs. They did a limited edition run of them in cans once.

An OG Colorado pine needle craft beer that is *chefs kiss* perfection.

Before the craft beer boom, it was a major status thing to taste the Loveland beer

I found out Loveland’s Ginny Lee IPA is just a normal Tommyknocker ipa recently. I was ordering the can because I didn’t know lol

There was a season where i was trying to drink way to gnar for skiing beer while skiing. Would finally burp midway through the rail line and feel human again.

I always bring my own beers and sandwich but make sure when we stop for lunch to buy one overpriced drink and over-tip the bartender. Which was literally impossible to do at Okemo this year because they did not have the bars (or food) open at any of the lodges that were up on the mountain, and I'm not going all the way down to base for lunch.

The Abasin bacon bloody.

Bacon infused vodka, housemade bloody mary mix, with a candied bacon strip on a stick.



Also have to mention the ski bum breakfast, aka the man-mosa, aka the brass monkey, aka the beer-mosa..

..It's just a pbr with a little bit of orange juice

My resort doesn't have any thing special but i know a ton of people who mix half a slushy and half of a rootbeer or a pepsi or a doctor pepper, it is kinda good.
