Why is nobody talking about Breckparks this year?! Breck’s park slaps so hard this year I think that it should be up there with Copper and Park City. I haven’t even seen one clip from Breck Parks this year and I’m honestly really surprised given the size of the jumps and rails (the biggest jump is atleast 50 ft so it’s definitely big enough for some pro tricks). Wish we could go back to the good old days when Breck still hosted Dew Tour in Freeway y’know? I kinda feel bad for the park crew who made Parklane this year just for it to get zero credit in the skiing community, its sort of like Summit County’s best kept secret this year. All in all, definitely come check out Breck if you want a top notch park with zero people! Or don’t, I kinda enjoy the peace and quiet in Parklane for once.

Park City just has such a famous park and I see so many clips coming out of there that it’s kinda hard to ignore it’s relevance.

Did they add more? I was there 3 weeks ago and there wasn’t a whole lot. Carinthia VT had more features… I’m sayin this w mad respect for Breck tho, I literally had the time of my life riding that day. Just wondering if I came at a bad time

Yea Parklane kinda had a late start this year so I’m guessing you came when features were kinda just randomly spaced across the park. It’s fully filled in now though and there are a lot more features.

park lane is always so on point. it's not really anything new this year as im sure you know. i think it's more that they have removed freeway and other park stuff so people arent super enthused about coming to breck for park, when copper is right there. i enjoy lapping through park lane for sure: jumps are always perfect and rails are always interesting, but the lack of a fun scene in terms of riders is definitely being felt

Fair enough, but stuff has been going downhill every year since vail got there, and it’s not park crews fault.

They cut Breck parks in half, park lane is still good. But getting rid of the freeway jumps is a travesty. Those jumps were on point and huge.

Copper is on top in summit county, the park is massive, dedicated lift and you can get 30+ hits in with jumps and rails. It really is incredible right now. If it's a sunny park day I'm going to copper no questions

Brecks jumps are incredibly consistent year after year. The features are also well made. The late start and the access to the park via 5 chair or Colorado makes it less appealing as they have the most stops. All about that rocky cross cut.


its for sure aint 2009 no more. The old marketing was something along the lines of “4 peaks, 5 terrain parks, 4 halfpipes” gold king used to be the fuckin best park over on peak 9. I think 11-12 or maybe 12-13 was the last year they had it.

A51 just got finished in fuckin march which is insanely late but the vibes were high in there. Still way less packed with shredders than in their hay day but super fun right now.

POWDR buying woodward and doubling down on parks is super dope. I hope it proves there is still a business case for progression parks and large parks and large events and that VR will stay in the game.

Didn’t ride it today but saw maybe 2 people in the whole park, felt kinda bad for park crew, built a pretty decent park just for everyone to ignore it

^^ the fact that the parks are degrading at vail resorts is unequivocally vail's fault and probably their overall intention imo... parks don't fit anywhere in their business model of trying to get newbie families to buy epic passes, travelling, and skiing one week per year

Its for sure been trending that way. A bit pre covid but then with covid budget cuts park was one of the first to go. Theres always revolving leadership at such a big company so hopefully they get back to parks. Def wishful thinking on my part. Lol

Vail happened. Also meadows isn't vail and has some pretty solid people working there.


There's good people working for pc and breck, but vail sucks to deal with on parks sometimes.

Just had some cunts yelling at us on our parks page at crystal because they're mad about our season pass prices.

Like yeah dude, just out here all night scheming about season passes to upset people. Obviously the people raking and pushing the park make all the big business decisions for these mtns.

I don't wish bad things on people, well maybe a little, but some of those types need to get bitch slapped woth reality.

Probably scream at the guy collecting shopping carts in the parking lot about walmarts corporate stance and shit like that.

It's great that social media gives people a voice, it also shows how fucking stupid people are.

Sucks for people still hanging on at those parks hoping things will get better. Beaver creek went from a fun park to no park pretty much in 5 or 6 years. Even keystone wrnt downhill a bunch and people were bailing.

I think northstar will have a decent park as long as any of them, but the changes are pretty whack.

Interested to see if they try to do anything to fix theyre staffing issues or just keep ignoring the problem.

I'm in breck rn and I'm a bit underwhelmed. It looks fun but I guess I expect more creative feaures than just comp rails and big jumps. I'll be ripping tomorrow I'm sure it will be good but I was hoping for more. Honestly might have been as happy just ripping at trollhaugen

its mostly the jumps that are notably good. copper is where you want to be. the two are lightyears apart in quality

Yeah fr boys I wish I was in copper rn but unfortunately is got the epic(not so epic) pass for breck and don't feel like going to the work of getting a refund. Maybe I'll go to copper this summer or something

The jumps are not that big lol. Smaller than theyve been in like 10 years. They are also very well built. Theres a decent amount of rails and you can get creative on somethings for sure others are just standard flat tubes

sounds like the features are too big for you and the tiny park on peak 9 is probably too small. They are lacking progression parks for sure. Keystone might be a lil more your style and on the same pass but still gonna be similar since they dont have I70 park this year. Good vibes there on a sunny day though!

I hit it all day today and it's actually pretty sick. The bigger jumps are too big for me but there is no rail I cant hit. I still expected more but it's still fun
