I recently wrecked my Sir Francis Bacons (184cm) and was able to warranty them. Through the retailer, I now have 3 options and am not sure which is best. I replaced the Bacons with a cheap set of m-free 108's (182cm), which I like, and am considering how to best complete the quiver. I'll probably be living on the east coast next year - my initial thought was the k2 reckoner 102 as a park / hardpack ski, but unfortunately the retailer doesn't have anything in the 180's or 190's. I was considering these 3 options to complete the quiver:
New pair of Bacons (190cm): I liked my first pair a lot, but those were 184cm. I am considering making the SFB a pow / park setup, and using the m-free for all other days. I'm just over 6ft, ~190lbs. Would the SFB at 190 be too much ski for park laps? I'm only really spinning 180's and 360's right now, but like working on grabs and would probably want to get back on boxes / rails.
Armada Edollo (180cm): I would make this a park plus slushy spring laps ski (when it's really just the park and some groomers), and use the M Free for everything else. I really liked the SFB for nose butters / presses, so I think this is interesting. But definitely a beginner level park skier.
Blizzard Rustler 9 (188cm): I'm likely going to be moving from Jackson Hole to the East Coast next year, so the m free might be too wide for a daily driver. Is the Rustler capable in the park?
I figure that on the east coast, I will lap mountains like Stratton a bit, but will want to spend more time in the park (especially when the snow is rough). On all western trips (or if I move out west) I'm definitely more of a "few park laps a day, but mostly looking for soft snow" kind of skier. Thanks a ton in advance!
