Chamonix Trip

Dang, going to be there the week following. Let me know what you find out! Headed to Geneva and then driving to places that I can get to.

Didn't think the terrain other than to the top of Grand Motets was that amazing but I went in mid April. Queues were awful for the main tram. I think the other side of the valley facing south is supposed to be pretty good when there is snow.

Agui Di Midi is cool but tons of crevaces and you need a guide its also a 1 run day.

Grand montets area for black runs is great, Pylones is class as is Pointe de Vue . vallee blanche can be absolutely amazing - but it's completely dependant on snow - and you might want a guide.
Something a bit mellower but my favourite run was flegere which is a red, but it's lovely with great views.
There's loads of off piste stuff everywhere. I thought the areas were a bit disjointed - but you pretty much always get a view of mont blanc so you can't really knock it.
The Pub is great for apres (but full of us brits) and you've got to have a drink on la terrace from the start of blizzard of aahhhs infact just watch that for your cham hype. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiJknkRe3Zc&t=472s

Also there's la verte in the les houches area which is the run for the kandahar world cup downhill.
