I can switch tails 2 onto ride on features and want to learn them on higher features. A few times today I clipped somewhere around the 90-180 degree mark and fell. What is the best speed for the trick and should I come in with an angle or straight on?
I’m in a similar situation. More speed helps a ton I bet, as well as starting as far away/sharp angle from the rail as you can that way you give yourself room to get your tails behind you.
also may be worth your time to learn to delay switch 2. They’re pretty fun and not hard. Just throw a switch 2 but hold your skis at initial takeoff angle for a second and let your shoulders fully dictate the rotation instead of relying on edging to create your spin power. Almost like a shifty switch 2.
you could try this with speed after you’re real comfy with them on tubes with a slight urban lip or something to ensure you ain’t catching. Plus it looks sicker.
Make sure to wind up a little bit so you don't have to crank as hard or block to get the spin around. You want to almost shifty to keep your tails at switch for a second after takeoff so they don't catch on the rail. The shifty also makes it look better imo.
