BiffbarfDaylight savings can suck my dick from the back
eheathidk i think going forward in the spring is great, it stays light longer in the evening, and its how our time should always be.
how is that taking away an hour of prime skiing? it actually lighter, for longer so Idk how you're coming to that conclusion.
SmokedGoudaGetting warmer later in the day and places still close at 4
eheathbut how does that take an hour away of skiing from you? Id argue you'd get more spring skiing because it's warmer earlier in the day.
jompcockMy home mountain stays open til 5 once the clocks change
eheath@SmokedGouda why would you downvote me and not respond?
SmokedGoudaIdk. Why so desperate for a response. If it gets to 45 degrees at 10 before time change, now after the time change it gets to 45 at 11 and my resorts still close at 4. Your comment was a proposition towards opposite day.
eheathso why wouldnt you just say that instead of downvoting? honestly curious, because clearly i made a mistake and I understand what you mean now.
BiffbarfDownvoted on principle alone.
SmokedGoudaI’m not gonna argue. It’s just a hand. I clicked it. Was busy.
eheathimagine me caring if anyone downvotes my post
im over this passive downvote shit thats been created by modern social media and rating/liking/voting/etc that reddit created too. just say something, this isn't specifically even at you, like if someone disagrees with something they should converse about it vs just downvoting, its lazy and unproductive.
like that dude could've just said 'actually you have it backwards' and instead he just downvoted, it's not a contribution to the conversation, its just a self righteous ego booster.
ArgyleNJI never understood why more mountains didn't do this.
jompcockI feel like my home resort loses money on it since it's an extra hour to stay open when day tickets start to get cheaper but lately they've been pushing hard too deliver to pass holders/locals since they're independent and don't have the epic cashflow. I'm all for it as long as they go bankrupt since they're better than vail resorts in almost every single way they differ.
mattytruwhich mountain? i want to form a good association with them in my brainus

3maniaDays get longer without artificially augmenting the clock, i thought you would know that. The problem is losing the primest hour of skiing because of some out dated BS. I suspect you only ski a day or two a week, so this probably doesn't effect you, but for those of us who are out there everyday, its sucks big time.
Farmville420Daylight savings time imply that the earth is round and honestly that’s true but I don’t like it being forced down my throat all the time
Poindexter.V2If you aren't looking forward to going back to correct way of time keeping your fucking high

SmokedGoudaActually the time before spring forward was the old time. Spring forward allowed people to sleep the same amount of time as sunrise went from 5-6am(example) and then more daylight at the end of the day before they went to sleep, but ill miss the winter time.
