ReturnToMonkeyI hiked most of Granite in the late summer and the conditions were alright, still some snow. We failed because we tried to do it in one day. I would definitely not do it during March unless you're an experienced winter alpineer. The road to the trailhead is probably closed, requiring snowmobiles or an extra tenish miles of hiking through flat snow.
