lil.BoyeHonestly, skiing alone and exploring the mountain is underrated. Find some new places and no need to stop and wait. Just flow all the way.
But a good day with the homies beats this. The feeling of getting hyped sending something with the homies is unmatched
STR1NG_B3ANtuff to flex being the best skier on the mountain with your 'friends' always slowing you down
jompcockI ski alone a lot and it can be fun but it gets old. I always value a day lapping with the homies I used to shred with every weekend. I also love skiing with my dad cause he has superhuman genes and can ski like he's in his early 30's at age 58
ToddlerBodyBagSame. My dad does the boomer tuck with his poles in his armpits but I'm nor gonna pretend I can keep up with him when he does.
ToddlerBodyBagI didn't mean it like that. I just see a lot of different styles where some point it down groomers all day and some zig zag across the hill trying to get evey possible side hit.
DeadBHad this 1 friend. Ronnie. Literal shitter, couldn't do anything all that Jerry was good for was filming. We used to get him to lay down in gaps and stand on the knuckle and film. This 1 time he started getting really annoying saying "oh film me I want some clips" like tf u gonna do a 180?? I don't want you in our edit I said to him and he got all fussy and started throwing his skis. We pretty much put him in a headlock and he went home to mommy. Never saw him in the park again, which is good some people just can't ski and we tried to be nice and let him film us but he had to get all cocky. Never getting slowed down by gapers again.
I think he rides Gilsons now and skis groomers. What a loser.

Christian_BaleIn all seriousness if someone takes the time to film you a bunch and then they politely ask for some clips in return, then it would be a dick move to flat out refuse, regardless of how good they might be. Not saying u gotta put their clips in your edit though.

NivlacEloopUsually im a pretty patient person but as soon as I have ski boots on it is so hard for me to wait. kills my flow i just want to goof off and ski fast. skiing with snowboarders is especially bad.
MaimHelpso you're that friend
skiit456I definitley feel like skiing with a snowboarder friend is slow, and isn't as fun. And skiing with a skier with a different style of skiing, (slower or not as sendy.) Skiing with someone who has similar actions to how I ski is much better, which in that case I will ski with friends. But it's very true that skiing yourself is more relaxing and if anything, more fun because like you said you can go at your flow, not wait down at the bottom waiting for someone, and you could switch your run how many times you want because its you and your brain and your twigs only.
