Just finished reworking the park for the upcomming vacation weeks. Took a couple of tired elements out and scared the patrol with the monster kite. Think kite shaped table 20' high or so, long take off ramps on each short side of the kite and long steep landings on the long sides creating two 40' hip jumps. It was suggested by a person in the park one day, I tweaked it a little, got outta control, and voila Monster Kite. People are psyched, I've seen a couple of people 10' above the deck. Bet they'll go higher though.
Here's the rundown on the park right now.
1 - 10' straight table
1 - 10' beginner step down - 20' landing
1 - 15' step down, steep 30' landing
1 - 25' step down, steep 40' landing
1 - table, two hits, 20' + 15', 30' landing
1 - monster kite (2 40' hip jumps)
1 - 10' table, 20' landing
1 - table, two hits 20' + 30', steep 30' landing
1 - 24' straight rail on a small table
1 - picnic table
1 - 300'+ halfpipe, 12' walls, fresh cut today
Also at the mountain, a pro size step down 20' + 30' to the lip and a steep, 50'+ landing. (bottom of Zoomer Trail)
I groom every hit and landing nightly, Fri-Tues.
I get just as bored with the same stuff all the time as anyone, so some of the stuff will be changing regularly. That said, let me know what you want to see and I'll see if I can work it in! Thank you for the feedback so far - keep it up! If you come jam with us, let the mountain know. We'll be pumping them for more stuff all winter and if they know you like it or want it, we've got a better chance of getting it for you. (Hint: tell 'em more rails, bigger and better cut pipe, open sooner, etc.) We've got 'Super' dreams for next year...
Don't forget the freeride terrain - Tramline is open with huge boulder drops and serious steeps., complete with audience. Lot's of other stuff but I'd get lynched if I told you where it was.
Thanks,
Dropping in!
