If you were given the opportunity to design a feature in your park (or any park), what would you design/build and why?
Ill go first-

weastcoatS Tube and I would cream. Park city has a C tube so someone’s gotta make it happen.
also the 23x firecracker trollhaugen just made looks dreamy. Imagine the auditory satisfaction of just straight sliding that thing. I’d pause my music rolling up to that rail.
BradFiAusNzCoCaI don’t know about now but, at least when I was at Northstar (and @theabortionator was shaping), Northstar had a lot of fun features like rails that split, rails on coils, and all sorts of creative stuff. I’d probably recreate the park from 2016-17 season if I could. So many hits in one

Mr.MittenAs a former member of park crew 2016-2018(?) I totally feel the sentiment here. Features aren't it, layout isn't it, jumps pretty damn hit or miss. But I do have to say park crew gets about 0 help from Bridger as an organization, and they're extremely limited in what they can do with the space. Happy to dive into the intricacies of that space and why it's set up the way it is.
They've tried for years to get it moved somewhere legitimate where the setup could be a lot more open and adjustable (alpine, bridger midway, etc.) but again the organization won't give an inch. It sucks, and leads to the park being set the same way every year, all year. Trust me, being on park crew there is no easy task, and when Bridger doesn't want to help out or give some freedom it makes the job that much harder.

Jemsim guessing some old head makes the park every year, I feel bad for the park crew cause they're paid to literally rake lips that don't get worn down. I wish bridger would at least permit more use of their huge rail selection, there's so many high quality rails they could make use of elsewhere besides bridger. or even let us have our own bone zone at bridger in the pre season?
Mr.MittenPark crew all has a say on the initial build, but there’s definitely a 2000’s way of building out features at Bridger that makes them less than ideal. Again, trust me, I pushed a while back for a more approachable fun park, with more flow/smaller features, but it just doesn’t really work with the space.
and having a bone zone style of park with the old gestures would be really sick, but another logistical nightmare trying to get the Bridger higher ups to allow it to happen.
ArgyleNJNot exactly the question you asked, but when I saw the snowboardcross at the olympics it made me really want something like that to be common at mountains. Obviously you see the slalom race tracks at a lot of places but I don't see why they can't have a cool long run with tons of wacky rollers and shit. Maybe they just figure people will crash into each other.
mrk127Bachelor got a sick tubezilla last spring but I want a boxzilla just for the meme
