I have just received some K2 mindbender 108ti skis. I was in the process of getting a touring setup. I don’t know much about them but was curious what peoples thoughts were if they would be good to go touring with or not.

they would be ok, a little heavier of a ski than most people would look at for a touring setup but you can always save weight with your binding choice

They will be great, especially if you toss some touring bindings like salomon mtns or atks on there, the skis should be easy to resell too if you want to switch to lighter weight skis in the future. if they are a 50/50 setup doing sidecountry or the occasional1 quick morning lap for touring, cast or shifts could be a good idea too.

My buddy just copped a pair with a Duke PT and did a bunch of touring in Utah (to essentially ski shit snow lol). He said they’re heavy but rip on the way down. The ski itself isn’t even that bad per it’s category, I think it was mostly the binding. It’s a great ski and if you can handle the weight on the uphill I’d go for it, especially if you like a strong damp but still fun and loose ride.
