it was a good day. sun shining. snow was at the point where it wasn’t icy but it wasn’t too slushy. at my home mountain, the top 50% of the lips are just blown snow. piss and shit reclaimed water. no biggie. turns out it rides slower; deceleration paired with an already somewhat forward stance don’t mix well. not enough to really throw you forward, just enough to throw off your center of balance. land a bit off balance. skis cross almost immediately upon landing. ok well i guess i might fall, whatever. rotated slightly sideways while falling. fall to the ass. sure, maybe not the biggest impact, right?

Also, apparently a couple weeks back someone hit that same jump and cleared the landing and landed flat. Heli flew up for that one.

Holy shit that's so crazy gnarly!! Yea idk bridger park crew has never understood flow or speed or organization. The lower park always seems to just be a hodgepodge of randomly placed features with no safe way to get speed for things while the upper park just has feature after feature where you have to alternate going fast and slow. Also it's on one of two beginner runs... I just hate how little thought goes into it. So many ingredients for disaster.

That jumps shit which I shoulda took that into account but I’m a dumbass but whatever.
the thing with bridger park is everything’s wonky speed and they throw random shit up that may be good together if built nicely but most things arnt and are just off enough where they fuck u up a little

For real; my job has “good insurance” through our union but even that has limits over state lines. Just gobbled ibuprofen and drove past 3 hospitals until I got to an ER

This kid messed his back up bad and went to the hospital later that day, a few days later some kid landed 5 feet from flat double ejected and slammed on his face, the kid died a couple of hours later after getting Heli lifted off the mountain, pretty sad to hear, especially from my local hill.
