Replying to Mid jump awareness and comfortability
i’m not much of a park skier, but i have been wanting to learn bigger tricks on bigger jumps. my issue though is that whenever i go on the big jumps, i get scared shitless when i’m in the air and all my focus is on landing properly so as to not crash. what i have noticed though is that the feeling is there even when i straight air small jumps, but whenever i throw a 3 on a small jump the fear is non existent, it’s like my mind has something else to focus on and the confidence in knowing i can land the trick sort of makes the fear go away.
i don’t know if that’s helpful at all in giving me advice but any help is appreciated. do i just need to hit jumps more to get more comfortable?
