milo-mcsendersonThat’s a super nice axis man but it’s more of a misty than a rodeo since you’re diving forward off the lip much less than backwards like a flat/rodeo 5. The lines between those axes do kinda blur and you’re almost setting rodeo at the start but it defs ends up going forward.
I haven’t yet dialled misty or rodeo 7s myself but both definitely in my sights when I get back to full seasons and full strength and I’ve played around with them and tried to send a few.
It sounds weird but thinking about just taking a little bit off the front flip side of the set and more into the sideways aspect of the rotation of it on the lip will help, the 7 axis becomes a little less flippy like a misty and more like a bio if you do this (sicker in my mind).
If you have access to a trampoline I’d try a few there. Do a bunch of 5s then play around with the axis. I find a misty 5 set your right hand (if spinning left) basically punches right past your left hip as you dive into the front flip ride of things for the 7 id punch sort of further away from your body to take some of the flip and put it into the spin. I hope that makes some kind of sense I’m not sure how else to describe it. Send a few on a tramp if you can to get the feel of it or just try and find some clips of the bio/misty 7 and visualise how it works.
I hope this is some kind of help, I’m no expert on jumps and I’m sure someone else has a much better way of explaining this than me but I thought I’d throw some thoughts out there at least.
halfwattjust landed one today thanks for the advice dude
