Do Armada and on3p ski similar?

Was thinking of doing Arv 96 cause I know I like armada but seems like people report durability issues. Looking at Jeffery 102 also

ON3Ps are have bamboo cores which have a very unique ride compared to other wood cores. Personally I love bamboo cores. I would take a Jeffrey over just about any other ski on the market.

Armada makes great quality skis I’m on my second season for my arvs and the only damage is the top sheet. If you’re really concerned ab durability and u tend to break skis. K2 poacher is a great option. They ride super similar to the arv 96 and they’ll last a lifetime

Ok. Yeah I don't care how topsheet looks as long as it's not full delamination. I don't hit rails as much as I once did either so maybe they don't have to be 2.5 edge. In my experience certain brands have similar feel. I liked Rossi, Line, armada(skis that pivot easy that you can ride flat). Didn't like a pair of fishers and a pair of K2's. I get companies can switch stuff up, skis can very greatly between models within a company. I also think there is a certain feel companies are geared towards. You could probably put them in groups based on similarities. The poachers do seem like they have a different side cut than the ones i didn't like back in the day. So anyone ride Armada and on3p think the feel similar?

armada feels damp, on3p's are more like springboards

Disclaimer I had 2017 arvs before they moved the recommended mount up and stiffened them up a bit but they ski nothing alike. Kartels/Jeffrey's and arvs both feel great in the air but for on3p that bamboo core and extra weight is a noticeable difference (and positive) for everything else imo. Both are great skis though. If you can afford it, I vote on3p, otherwise you're still getting a great ski with Armada.

Edit: since you mentioned about pivoting in a earlier post, yeah the on3p pivots way easier because the rocker is so big (at least that's my theory).

if you ski tow ropes on3ps will break just as fast as any sub 500 dollar ski, edges will fall right out. If you don't then they're pretty good, Jeffreys aren't as park dedicated as any of the ARVs and a definitely a whole lot heavier. And no, they don't really ski very similar.

Armadas don't ski similar to other Armadas. ON3Ps don't ski similar to other ON3Ps. Every ski model is its own beast.

Also I think Jefferys are more cambered than Arvs and also stiffer.

Jeffrey’s definitely are not either of those. Maybe stiffer but the new ARVs are stiff as fuck and probably stiffer than Jeffrey’s depending on what ARV it is.

fuck i meant rockered. Jefferys are more rockered than ARVs. You think the new ARVs are stiff af? I demoed some 96s a little while ago and they felt softer than whitewalkers at least. Pretty soft compared to what I'm used to.

The new 106 is the one that is dumb stiff the 96 wasn’t given the same treatment

I liked Ar6 so I bought a pair of JJ's and I'm pretty hyped on them. I always felt like skis within a brand have shared DNA. I do a rope tow lap here and there but mostly hit jumps. I hurt my knee and didn't ski much for 6-7 years it's my 3rd season back and updating gear. I've lost on skis before so just trying to get as much info as possible before I buy again.
