SimonWherityshould have won
ReturnToMonkeyI agree with one of the youtube comments, it's nice to see some creativity and style win a podium position!
jakeordieYeah but did he podium because of it? The Results Analysis makes no distinction for blender, just says sw right 2 on and sw right dub 14.
ReturnToMonkeyNah i dont think blender is really a style thing, thats not what I was talkin about. I was referring to his shifty off a rail instead of a spin, the triple whackflip over some cork 16, and just his unique creative run done so cleanly
jakeordieYeah Tom did likewise, spoke about the pretzel the 4 on and the triple.
So if it's not a trick and not style, then what? Why does skiing act like it didn't happen or it doesn't count.
ReturnToMonkeyThe purpose of blender is more or less to let someone spin a different way than they are comfortable riding switch.
AdiibAjesper has always done his switch right spins with the blender. as far as i know, judges just ignore it and i think rightfully so

jakeordieNot when it makes the trick more difficult, and it's on the FIS Trick List to get recognized and counted.
