Is full contact park skiing acceptable? For example child snakes you as you’re coming off a rail or is standing in a jump landing. Do you.

A. swerve and hope
B. Body yourself to avoid a collision
C. murk the child

Here is my story:

I am stopped, at the top of the park. I squint and see a 6 year old with goggles dangling from the back of his helmet, in the pizza stance, no poles and bright green snowpants that are baggier than mine. I yell, telling him to move out the way or he'll get bodied. He looks at me and stick out his tongue. I say it again, but this time in a serious tone. He refuses. This is where the action gets real: I accept his fate. Went in with my steez levels cranked to the max. Proceeded to do a front 2 on, front 2 out. Approaching the end of the rail, my pants lower. As i huck my knees back down to the ground during the last 90°, my ass spreads. My tummy grumbles. I let out a massive big-stinker 2000 on his head.

If I see imminent contact its grab them and try to make sure they don't get hurt in the fall so it's not like an NFL hit. This has never happened to me really since I dont take blind air.

i feel bad for all the kids i have skied into and mangled their poor bodies. once had a parent follow me around some laps after her kid ran into me. she followed me to watch my every step untill she called me a dirtbag and left. super weird.

If you view gapers as park features skiing becomes way more fun. The other day I did a 2p2 on some gaper laying on the ground. Then I used another one as a pole jam and did a 5050 3 out. As long as your edges are detuned, I found that spider jackets slide really well.

you guys actually ride the park if its stupid busy???

i just go somewhere else on the mountain if people are bothering me. you dont own the hill and they have every right to be there too, even if they are in your way. yea they might have poor park etiquette, but its your responsibility to show them why its important with out ploughing right through them.

stop giving us a bad name. they make the parks smaller or get rid of them completely, move them further away from lifts cause of safety, make requirements for special passes with safety courses and generally stop caring about the income from people like us.

you want parks to get bigger, better features, more accesible and better maintained? then stop acting like goons and show people what they are supposed to do and how.
