What are your thoughts of going to an amusement park by yourself?
Do it. Went down a YouTube rabbit hole about roller coasters in the early days of covid and kind of what to go to a park just have a little personal geek out now that I know way more about this stuff than I need to.
Amusement parks are just a lot waiting in lines, lots of people, annoying kids.
If you're a kid or have kids, sweet. Otherwise can't really think of anywhere I'd rather be less.
I went a bunch as a kid because we didn't have a lot of $$ and season passes to 6flags were cheap. If you got parking included on your pass. And didn't buy anything inside ever it was cheap entertainment. Rollercoasters are sweet but after you ride them a bunch they loose the appeal. Long lines for short rides.
10 years ago(fuck i didn't realize it was that long) phish played darien lake in ny. It's an amusement park thats been 6 flags at times and has some sweet rides.
Anyway the park was closed for the day but free if you had a ticket to the show.
Was pretty sick. No lines and everyone there was going to the show.
Felt good to ride some things.
Idk i hate lines. I hate crowds, i hate a bunch of noise.
I guess i hate fun lol. But i really don't want to ever go near one of those places again.
I went to Disneyland, left the kids at home it was cheaper that way. I was going to take pics of the rides and Mickey or whatever to show them but my phone was dead so I didn’t.
