Broken hand limits

I broke my hand yesterday (3rd and 4th metatarsal on non-dominant hand), doc said 4-6 weeks but i go to whistler in a month, how do I make this work, my motivator is Cal Carson's slvsh game with 2 broken hands

Brotha man you don't need your hand for anything but jerking off you'll be fine. Wrap your cast in some extra layers to cover your hand and maybe tape some handwarmers to it. You can use one pole and mimic the movement with your broken arm, I saw a mogul skier do it when he broke his pole midrun. It might take some getting used to, but I bet you'll be all gravy baby. Idk dude, casts are quite solid. Taking it easy will probably be ok. I think bdog filmed half of a street part with a cast on his hand

Did the same when I broke my wrist.
I still took it easy for like a week and just got some clips and photos of my friends.
After that I just skied without poles until the cast was removed.

Had a homie break a lot of the bones in his palm, before surgery he just put his hand in a bong bag and taped it up. He was sending harder than all of us.

I know it’s a bit different but I went surfing a week after I broke my arm. You can always find a way to make things work

I skied part of last season with a broken hand and had no real issues. Lots of ibuprofen and a large mitten to go over the cast worked well for me. I use poles and had to tape it to my broken hand for a while. Jus try not to fall onto your hand cuz it really hurts

I’m currently 7 weeks out from breaking my dominant hand. Spent all 6 weeks off work skiing. Took it really easy the first few weeks though. Be really diligent about not catching yourself with your hands if you fall. Fuck breaking metatarsals. My hand is still very fucked up even though I’m allowed to work again and should be fully healed.

slap a big glove over that sucker and jam a pole into your hand. i've done it with 4 separate breaks.

I completely shattered my hand last season (14 screws in my middle three metatarsals). I got a cast put on after 3 weeks and went right back to skiing.. just took it easy in the park until like the 6/7 week mark

Pull a sock over your hand, put a plastic shopping bag over that and then another sock over. It's not that thick and will keep your hand warm af

Just get one really big mitten to cover your cast. I Grew up playing hockey and whenever I broke a wrist I would just throw a massive glove over the cast and keep playing. Shouldn’t have any problems.

Broke my wrist last season and was told no more skiing for the rest of the season. Was back skiing in about two weeks. Probably not the smartest idea, but just take it easy and you'll be fine.

one skier in the WC slalom racing was bashing gates with a broken hand. i think she really wanted to get to the olympics hah. but yeah, take it easy and don’t cause more damage

Your prolly good. Just watch out for your other hand cause that’s what happened to me. Broke one kept skating and fell onto the other hand down and broke that one. Two broken hands sucks don’t do that lol
