Gear to get into park skiing

I've skied most of my rememberable life at a small mountain in PA, and after a while, I've decided I want to try park skiing after feeling I've gotten pretty good at just skiing in general. I feel I'm a little old at 16 to start but better late than never, but I don't know what to buy, right now I have atomic bentchetler 100s mounted for all-mountain and trees, but not park. I have some good ski gear, some nice backcountry bibs, and a salmon jacket, but I don't know where to buy outerwear for the park or what to buy. I know some brands but they're all brands worn by good park skiers and I don't want to look like a poser, but I want to fit in so help me out.

Just ski the park anyway, and you'll figure out what gear you actually need.

the gear you have will work great for park. start hitting it and take it from there, but the skis and gear you mentioned having already are totally fine for park stuff

Don't worry ab looking like a poser, as long as you aren't gaping through the park or have poor park etiquette, no one is gonna give you shit. If you're dedicated to skiing park, that doesn't make you a poser. wear stuff that you like, I always rock level 1, jiberish, wells lamont, and virtika, i'm not great in the park but I don't care, skiing is supposed to be fun, and I like to support companies that I like.

Unless it restricts your movement, the gear you wear has nothing to do with it, just send it, and if people judge you that’s their problem.

If your kit is dialed, chances are ppl are going to compliment you on it, so don't worry about looking too good. On the other, more important hand, keep your money for other things rather than dumping it on clothes

Your current skis should be fine, you could detune underfoot for rail if you wanted though. Clothing-wise, my style is mostly copying other skiers I like. I’d recommend watching lots of ski content and seeing what you like. I personally take from Henrik Harlaut, Phil Casabon and Edouard Therriault.
