Make sure to chill with it and let it heal proper. Also when you're able to start doing exercises with it to keep you arm from locking up and muscles from getting too atrophied.
They suck. I've done mine a few times. Like anything else let it heal up right.

Listen to this guy. Don't try to push it, collarbones heal pretty quickly normally. I was lazy with recovery and have semi-permanent mobility loss on my right shoulder, so don't be like me. Other than that, figure out what videogames you can play one handed, and take up reading books so you don't spend the next 2 months being a vegetable and watching just watching netflix.

heal up man!
Hold the controller to the side and you can play almost right away with an arm in a sling ever. Maybe wait a few days obviously if it hurts chill.
I was playing COD while laid up. Actually played with controller somewhat to my side for a year ish after. Got so used to it.
Also not sure what your situation is woth insurance or if you got one regardless. But those coolers that pump ice are sick af. They have ones made for your shoulder that you strap to your shoulder and it ices it.
If you dont have one ask around. Prolly someone in your town that would lend you one.
In like 3 or 4 weeks you're going to feel good and then go send and probably break it again because it's still weak af and all the muscles surrounding it are torched from not doing shit, don't do that and you'll be good to go for spring skiing
OldManAtABasinYou are about to realize just how many times you hit your arm / shoulder a day.
Just really have to let it heal - hoping you are back at it quickly.
Ya bro already. And like showering, using a towel, sleeping, getting dressed is a struggle. Hopefully it will it’s not offset, so like together just broken if that makes sense.

It’s not a bad break. 4-6 weeks. First lax game is in a month so I want to try my best I know there’s no magic. So like I want to continue eating really healthy and other stuff. Will do lots of leg days lol

honestly when i broke my collarbone and my shoulder blade the year after i just took it out of the sling to play video games if you’re careful not to move it while it’s out and only move your hand. maybe that’s more of a break severity thing but just my experience
I just slipped on the steps and fell on my right. Left sides broken. Feels a little hurt but feels different and idk if the bump is from that. But it’s right where I broke it. Could be from earlier or just now idk what to do. So idk how to handle it and if it got worse
