More and more resorts aren't holding comps or rail jams anymore, but what if skiers and riders got together pooled in a $10-$20 entry fee to a panel of volunteer judges. The contest is held in the park during operating hours, judges score either a rail jam on one feature or a line that can be seen from one viewing area. At the end of time or amount of runs, judges declare winners and hand out the cash. What do you guys think?

Without clearing it with the ski hill first you are running a big risk to get in a lot of trouble if they find out.
That being said, it is for sure doable if done right. Since you're talking just a rail jam, one could assume all the features will he visible to all so I'd recommend no judges.
How I'd do it without involving the hill:
- Keep all social media organization private
- keep all money transactions off ski hill property
- rider judged: (everyone writes their top 3 on a piece of paper)
- 3rd gets their money back, 2nd gets triple their money, 1st gets the rest.
