I’d say try to stay a lot more upright, and really try to snap your head around n like let your body catch up to it.

As mentioned above, straighet up, look through your spin and spin hard as hell. Good luck dude, fs 450’s are super fun once you get the hang of them

Part of the problem is you arent going full 90 onto the rail. So hard to generate spin for a 450 if you slide it at 45

full 90 onto rail, windup with arms, don’t pedal until end of rail, pull your arms in and legs together, bigger rail

pretz at end and set ur spin to the side at 90 degrees or so you just throw ur body down and stop the spin lol

That’s probably because they learned it on bigger ones, set your rail up higher mate

pvc isnt very grippy either. hard to get the pretz without the grip

the way i learned is to do a front swap near the end of the rail then 27 out. eventually you can make it all one smooth movement.

or if you are down to get shinbang, just stay backseat on your landing and continue the rotation on your landing, like a shuffle 180. eventually youll get a feel for 450 off too.

i consider fs 450 a "set it and forget it" trick-- set it and don't analyze anything, just look for that landing. you still kind of look like you're spotting shortly in like you would for a 270

but also it's just a small rail to learn 450s on, so don't get down on yourself, just keep practicing and you'll get better at getting a bite on the rail and setting the spin hard out of it

don't worry about your feet at the end, it's really easy to shuffle out of it if you come up short on the spin. also, always good rail advice: pick up your knees! more spin and time in the air when you do that
